What happened?
Cowboys are up 20-9 with 5 minutes left. Commies score a TD with the 2 point conversion, then Dallas returns the following kickoff for a TD to make it 27-17. Commies get a field goal, then they get the ball back. Daniels throws an 86 yard TD but they miss the PAT. On the onside kick, Dallas returns it back for a TD. So like 4 touchdowns in 3 minutes

On side kick to touchdown for the cowboys, cowboys kick, and then intercept on the goal line from commies.

Holy shit.. What a clusterfuck.

It would have been hilarious if coyboys lost that way though.

This Cardinals-Seahawks game is a total mid-off

Patrick Mahomes fined $14,069 for doing this:

And is Tommy Cutlets on the Tommy Cut List now? :story:
It makes sense. The team is a dumpster fire. It was one before Rodgers got there as much as he may have thrown gas on it. It's also a clear example of owners/front offices using specific insiders to do their bidding. Schefter is another big one you see doing this. He pushes narratives hard and won't back down on them. It's why it's interesting to me to see players taking things into their own hands and talking on podcasts and such. It's breaking down the narrative power sports journoscum.

A former Seattle Mariners exec, I think GM, went on Pat McAfee's show years and years ago when it was still in his basement and openly talked about how whenever they were letting a player go they'd leak to the media about off the field stuff or plant stories regarding performance metrics to control fan reaction. That kinda thing had always been assumed, but it was interesting to hear someone with that power just admit to it. He joked about and felt it was just part of the game.

An entertaining slate of early games, afternoon turned into a slog.

Let's see what this night game is like
