Same with the Lions. Its still in the Ford family but its now being run by Martha's daughter Shiela Hamp-Ford after Martha decided to step down in 2020. In all fairness we honestly lucked out because we could have ended up in the same situation the Bears are in now.Because you really thought Dan Quinn and Kliff "Thailand Lady Boy Enjoyer" Kingsbury would turn the Commanders around. They are obviously capable but it was that faggot Snyder being exorcised that made the difference. Virginia McCaskey and Woody Johnson can flirt with their new toys but nothing is going to change until they do.
People dont realize often times why CEOs/other executive officers/leaders of companies make so much but its because they are infinitely disposable, (theres no shortage of business majors coming out of Harvard) and any ripple they make gets amplified into tidal waves wether good or bad, they are the single person who exerts the most control over a company. Their actions attitude and practices set the tone and guide the rest of the staff in informing how their job is to be done. And honestly I can think of no better example of this than the Bears and Lions. If you take the possibility of being fired away from the equation you can clearly see why executive officers are so highly valued. If you find a good one (or hit the Jackpot in that the NepoBaby isnt completely retarded and can actually run a football team) like the Lions the excellence trickles down and infuses life and energy into the very bricks of the foundation of the building, and excellence springs forth.
The Bears won't be good, and they never will be good as long as Virginia McCaskey owns that team. Or as long as she's too blinded by nepotism and ego to do what needs to be done. I bet you that Indian guy whoshe hired for analytics woo'd her with some fake sob story about how he used to watch bears in india as a kid or some shit like that and thats how he got the job.
