The Chiefs got what they fuckin' desserve as the Joker might said after they got the help of the referees to go the Super Bowl. We could said then the Bills was avenged.

I for one have been shedding tears for Patrick GOAThomes and his lost 'threepeat'. Patrick is a biracial icon that could've brought the country together, in many ways he's the Kamala of sportsball. This isn't how the movie was supposed to end. We needed a GOAThomes threepeat and a Kelce-Swift proposal. I'll forever pine for all the things last night did not become.

I didn't know Barry McCockiner has an account on the Farms.

The riggery happens for whatever team holds the "face of the league" money making player. Brady got the same ref plot armor and lots of people hated the Patriots for it.
You can only rig or play favorites for so long, though. People are gonna eventually tune out if refball continues to only benefit a reviled top dog. Like with election fraud, you need plausible deniability to pull it off.
It’s also reputation and the team you are playing against when they can really rig it.

There are a lot of close games where one call or a couple can affect the outcome of the game. Not every game is XL where it’s blatant. However, if you are playing against the Lions, Browns, Cardinals, or any other “loser” team then you can get away with refs actually stealing the game.

I do think the kick off rules need to change. An on-side kick only works if you have the element of surprise.

Why did Josh see it fit to feature the nigger-ball game results? I was able to completely avoid any mention of the sooper-ball this weekend.
@Null is an American and the Super Bowl is effectively a National holiday in the US. @Trombonista is HBIC and has featured the Super Bowl a few times because funny shit happens.

@George Lucas This thread is actually okay when it’s not featured, but the Super Bowl is more about the event than the game. The AFC and NFC championships tend to be better games usually, the Super Bowl itself tends to suck because injuries or because one conference sucked that year. I don’t if it’s featured because positive Polly’s sharing funny videos or memes out number the negative niggers.

Once again they chose to have a spook perform who's songs need every other word censored for them to be able to show it on TV, making them even more unintelligible. Hasn't been a good halftime show since Prince. At this point just bring back Up With People to do it every year, at least that you won't have to attempt to explain to your parents.
I agree, Prince was an amazing artist. Justin Timberlake's tribute to Prince was pretty cool. Also, rap music and censorship are like mixing jelly and ketchup; it makes it sound worse. There were apparently some kind of Easter eggs in the halftime show, but I didn't notice them. My mom was rambling about some Facebook post she read saying Drake called out pedos, which I think is true, and then she said something about how he's some kind of secret Trump supporter, which is laughably stupid, but I thought the halftime show sucked.
Speaking of...

Is anybody else getting sick and tired of these "stylistic re-interpretations" (or whatever you want to call them) of the national anthem? I thought that was absolutely awful this year
I thought that was horrible as well. My brother and I burst out laughing when that whatever-it-was anthem started before Jon Batiste. I didn't think Jon's piano anthem was that bad, but the other one was so awful we owe Fergie an apology. Also, did anyone see that black band tribute to the New Orleans terror attack victims before the national anthem? It was so bad it was funny. It's hard to have an emotional tribute to people who died while having a rapper sing Big Booty Bitches.
So is it just going to be terrible rap acts from now on? I get we can't have country singers and elderly rockers anymore, but can they really not get a pop singer to perform for ten minutes on one of the biggest stages on the planet? Do we have to pretend only blacks watch the NFL now?
Speaking of country singers, I think Shaboozy or one of these Black country singers will get to do the halftime show in the future due to the rising popularity of country music, especially among Black folks. They already had Shaboozy do the halftime show at a Cowboys game; why not the Super Bowl?

Not really a sports guy but I'm glad the Klansas City Chuds and Tayloph Swiftler finally got knocked down a peg. All hail the People's Republic of Philadelphia!
