What does Tom Grossi do during the off season?
Once we're past the draft and hit peak dead time for NFL news, he typically does a season retrospective 'reaction' vid for each team with the same kind of gimmick as the above video. Then it's just the occasional video whenever a trade comes up and some random videos about whatever else he wants to talk about, be it sports-related or stuff like wrestling.

I'd say he'd spend another month on a charity fundraiser like he did with the stadium tour last year, but he spent like a week straight last month livestreaming until he raised $1 million for charity and that equated the amount he's raised for the preceding 8-ish years combined. So maybe he'll take June off to finally move to Wisconsin.

The Bald Eagle is staying in Philly. Three years for $51M with $34M guarenteed. Where were you when the Eagles paid a linebacker and a running back monster contracts?
I don't want to jinx it, but legitimately how does the rest of the league respond to a roster as stacked as ours going forward over the next couple years? The only real question mark right now is how good our new OC is, but if all else fails I'm confident our defense will carry us to another deep post-season run next year.

Seahawks released a bunch of 2nd/3rd stringers yesterday to clear cap space. I was fine.
Now, today, Tyler Lockett has been released and DK is requesting a trade.
I am no longer fine.

Oof, hopefully they know what they are doing

Joey Bosa has been released from the Chargers, and all the players from San Diego who moved to LA are now gone.

The other big question is Barkley's health imo. We were pretty lucky all around concerning injuries last season. The team was good at load management when it came to giving him days off after practice and he was good with load management when coming out of games, but he still had 500 touches last year. How will that work out as he hits 30? RB data suggests poorly, but there are exceptions like Derrick Henry and Saquon is certainly exceptional. I'll put my hand up and say I thought King Henry was washed up, but it turns out good players play better on good teams vs on bad teams. Who knew?

Will next season see a bit more emphasis on the pass game by the Birds as more teams sellout to stop Barkley both to switch it up on defenses and to preserve his legs?

This is why I think it's a shame we're probably going to let Gainwell go. Didn't make a big splash statistically, but was monumentally important to both keeping Saquon healthy, and keeping the run game a threat on the snaps he needed a breather on. I think even a dinged up Saquon who misses a few games a season is better than no Saquon, but I'm also sure I'll be calling for his public execution if he fails to perform next year.

It appears the team thinks Ship can fill his role. I'm not so sure as I was a Kenny G truther. Shipley has certainly shown potential on special teams and as an RB, but time will tell.

I think the Bears are also going for the Falcons center. Seems like they figured out they actually need an O Line to decide if Caleb is any good
They needed to do SOMETHING with Caleb holding on to the ball for a millennium back there in the pocket. Ben Johnson is probably following the same blueprint Dan Campbell used with the Lions. Build up the trenches, no gigantic FA contracts, only short length ones for veterans and depth. Build through the draft. He has a head start on Dan Campbell though having Caleb behind center, that is if he actually lives up to his No. 1 overall pick status.

I guess that means they won't be drafting Shadeur
Shadeur has Browns written all over him, and even if they don't take him he isn't making it down to 18.
Trying to come to terms with the idea that I'm probably going to be watching someone like Sam Howell/Darnold show a rookie like Jaxson Dart how to take unnecessary sacks next fall.

You have to wonder what the fuck the plan is. Sam Darnold or Fields?

According to longtime NYG beat reporter Art Stapleton, the Giants are going hard after Rodgers. I need to see him collapse two Jersey teams, please.

Imagine if he tears his ACL on the first snap AGAIN :story:

Edit: also not like the Jets or Giants needed much help collapsing anyway, they'd be at the bottom of the league with or without betting it all on Rodgers.
