other than "because I'm from Cleveland" why would anybody give any fucks about the Browns
The Browns have hitched their wagon to Coach Primate and the Shithead Sanders train. They're interesting to watch (from a distance, and of course not their games) as a dumpster fire. Shithead Sanders has been arrested twice for speeding over the past month, BTW - black excellence in action!

Yeah, It wouldn't shock me in the least if Deion jumps ship at the end of the year to go to Cleveland. Too many things are lining up towards that:

- His nignog culture at Colorado isn't sustainable and he'll bounce before it implodes.

- Barring the Browns not be a dumpster fire this year, their HC and GM are gone.

- Shedeur was an owner pick.

- Jim Haslam is a retard.

I do have a zany scenario in mind that's contingent on Deion going to Cleveland, Arch Manning entering the draft as the 2nd coming, and the Browns having the #1 pick. Common sense dictates a team in that position would draft Arch there, but I can easily see them trading out considering the above assumptions. They'd definitely get a haul of picks but you can't ignore the insanity of it all.

The Browns passing on a potentially franchise altering QB due to nepotism and Arch dodging the bullet of all bullets that is the Cleveland Browns. It'd be the most Browns thing of all Browns things if Arch goes on to win a handful of Super Bowls while Shedeur is out of the league and making rap videos.

Today is Bradley Chubb's birthday!

Edit: Rodgers says this might be his last season. Thank goodness.
Honestly he's less at fault for the constant drama surrounding himself at this point than his haters. You should see the fantasies redditors work themselves up into every time offseason media brings him up because he has weirdo takes on McAfee from time to time and wasn't buying the COVID vaccine.

Like, strip out the emotionalism/hating due to his perceived politics, and this is all Rodgers did this offseason:
-Got fired by the new Jets coach (who had to explain himself to the players in his press conference announcing it b/c Rodgers was so popular with them)
-Waited until after voluntary workouts to sign with the Steelers (which vets have done a thousand times to avoid feeding local media hysteria about their absence)
-Apparently got married, which also could've contributed to delaying his eventual signing

A swan song with a team that'll still be likely to make the wildcard round probably sounds appealing to him. The Steelers really just need the Bengals to suffer a lopsided team even worse this season and for Stefanski to not bullshit his way to a COTY award again to be #2 in the AFC North.

There's no doubt a large bulk of the spergery comes from closeted fag (and even worse, a Vikings fan) Mike Florio.

Peak Florio. He always had a bit of a chip against him since he was the QB for his rival, but he clicked into overdrive after the incredibly based "immunized" situation.

It's hilarious because if this were in a vacuum with no other context, you'd assume Florio is a schizofrenic. He did something similar a few months ago when Aaron was wearing a wedding band and Florio's article was about Aaron wearing it explicitly to drum up speculation whether he was married or not. Aaron marching to the beat of his own drum infuriates the everliving fuck out of Florio and company so they overanalyze everything, ignore all context, and make it out like it's woo woo or attention whoring. Which makes them scrutinize things like schizophrenics even more and ultimately validating Aaron's perspective that it's all relative.

I'll admit A-Rod doesn't do himself any favors by demonstrably treating members of the media like retards but that's clearly how he wants to go about it for better or worse. Funnily enough, He probably doesn't regret it at all since they validate themselves being retarded (to him at least) when they sperg out, so the cycle perpetuates and so on.

A lot of NFL media is just the sports equivalent of celebrity TMZ gossip and it gets more desperate as the offseason continues. It's annoying and I think people who get wrapped up in it are stupid but unfortunately this is what happens when journalists make their livelihood discussing a sport that has a multi-month offseason; eventually there's just nothing new to talk about. Even the localized NFL memewar subs on Reddit and Facebook trash talk groups are getting desperate and starting to post WNBA lol

It is a double edge sword. Rodgers definitely comes across as a guy who loves the attention and at this point seems to only care about receiving as much of it as he can. At the same time, most of his critics only started to hate him over the COVID-19 thing. Most of his critics loved him when he defended the national anthem protests or were calling for him to be the next host of Jeopardy!. Does anyone else remember there being rumors online back in 2014 about him being gay and everyone online was preparing to defend him in the event he came out?

It is one of those situations where Rodgers is worthy of criticism but his critics come across as worse human beings with ulterior motives behind their criticisms.

He'll break a lot of brains when he eventually reveals his husband.

lil bit weird that Reddit hates Aaron Rodgers and Tim Tebow and Caleb Williams and those are like the first three NFL players I'd immediately peg as closet cases.

Hehehe he married ur mom. Get rekt.

He's got an interesting catalogue for sure:
- Olivia Munn
- Danica Patrick
- Some crazy crystal lady

Gotta say, the Facebook memes have been hilarious.

He was with Shailene Woodley for awhile too (not sure if she's your crazy crystal lady)

This is where I remind people Rodgers is from Chico, CA, where the most granola rednecks you will ever meet are grown.
His dating history and general interest in woo completely matches that stereotype.

Oh no, this one was unironically called 'Blu of Earth'. Did a quick jewgle search and it says they weren't "dating", so take it for what it's worth.

Incredibly based. That was my QB. Still is my QB unless he does something gigatarded like sign with the Vikings or Bears.

I'd believe that if it wasn't for the weird shit that went on with him and Kevin Lanflisi

Living together, going to events together, let Kevin wear his Super Bowl ring, had a nasty breakup where Kevin went through his Twitter account and deleted all the pics they took together. Just normal pro athlete things.

Neither one of these are bad moves for the Steelers. If Ramsey can get back to his Pro Bowl/All-Pro form he'll be able to help the Steelers vastly overpaid defense. It was reported on awhile ago that the Steelers were looking to acquire Smith.

However, both of these moves reek a little of desperation on the Steelers part. It seems like they know they are walking into a potential disaster of a season and are doing whatever they can to earn that just barely winning record.

It's a good move. I won't be surprised if they get 11 plus wins. I don't know why everyone thinks the Steelers roster is so abysmal, it's been a playoff team with almost nothing coming from the backfield outside of Jaylen Warren as an RB2. Rodgers is far better than anything they have had since Big Ben.
