Say what you will about Jimmy Hoffa, but he was no where near THIS corrupt and he actually did care about union workers, a little bit. Not more than he loved the mafia, but it was still there nonetheless. He wouldn't put up with half the shit the NFLPA puts up with if he were running the show.
The best part of the article imo was Eckler saying that they have a great process that lead them to Howell even if there were some things they couldn't have known that caused it not to work out.

:story:

The Browns signed another QB. Tyler Huntley. This ordinarily wouldn't deserve a mentioned, but it's the fucking Browns, who had 4 (technically 5) other quarterbacks. 2 of which are rookies, and 1 of those rookies being Shedeur Sanders. A prospect who had the most dramatic draft fall in NFL history. A prospect the owner forced the GM and head coach to pick when they clearly didn't want to pick him, and then said owner went on to make sure everyone know it wasn't his decision when it clearly was. A prospect that doesn't make any fucking sense to add when you've already got 3 other more qualified candidates in the QB room, when most teams normally have 2 roster spots.

Jesus Christ. Cleveland is such a fucking clownshow.

Travis Hunter is listed both as a WR and CB on the Jags first public depth chart of the year.

This comes after a string of practices and even a scrimmage from the Jags side where Travis played on both sides consistently.

Travis would often switch jerseys during practice indicating when he'll switch from offense to defense.
According to the depth chart he's a 1st string WR and a 2nd CB. Which is what many around the NFL figured.

If anyone, anyone has any doubts about Travis Hunter playing both ways. I don't know what to tell you. But it's real. Travis is gonna be the NFL's first modern (keyword here) two way player.

Testimony from those around Hunter the Jags themselves, teammates, and what have you. Clearly indicated that he's going to play both sides and start on both.
How does that look I have no idea but Travis is clearly a fucking unicorn and honestly fuck it let's see what happens.

So this is why I have convinced myself that if he falls to me in fantasy I'm taking him.

Eagles trade depth piece DT Thomas Booker for CB Jakorian Bennett from the Raiders. I don't know much about Bennett, but saw he held Chase to 3 for 16yds with one PBU. That's certainly nice. Booker was a reasonable depth piece and a great guy off the field. There has been a question all camp at corner whether Ringo would step into the role they were trying to give him and whether or not the interior pass rush would be fine without Milt. Word has been Ojomo is stepping up and will Jordan Davis losing another 26lbs finally keep him off the field and live up to his 1st round pick?

Any Raiders fans wanna talk about Bennett? Also this confirms that Vic is going to be alternating DeJawn between nickel and safety, not nickel and corner. I expect them to place a lot more base defense this year. Nickel was our "base" last year and base was only 15% of snaps. I hope Bennett is good because trading a Thomas for a corner, divas until proven otherwise, named Jakorian has me nervous.

JB seems like he can be pretty solid. Very fast and can do better tackling with the right coach I can imagine. Sort of a gamble but not so much of one that i'd cry any tears about it. Feels like raiders are trying to make some real moves this year. Raider fans are so demoralized it has wrapped back around to us being pretty positive.

The info from Philly film guys/insiders is that he's basically a shorter version Kelee Ringo who's competing for CB opposite Quinyon Mitchell. I can take that. Booker is solid as well and buried farther back in the rotation than his talent. There's also two young guys the coaching staff like coming up behind him. He's a smart Stanford guy and has a great personality if your media team does a lot behind the scenes stuff.

I guess your D line is really thin and Bennett doesn't fit Carroll's mold for a corner. A couple Philly personnel guys went to Vegas, so this trade makes a lot of sense.

Perna just released a video on this:
Also, Shedeur will likely be starting against the Panthers.

You don't want to watch 4 hours of commercials and 2 hours of DEI propoganda with your football? You bigot
Eh, idk. Sometimes commercials are pretty cool. I'm watching King of the Hill and I keep getting one with a swastika and "No Jews" on a garage door. No issues if it's those types of commercials.

For reference, it's this one.

Your funny. Enjoy this 10 minute commercial about the WNBA

Did they list a reason why they are banning smelling salts?
I just looked it up because this sounded retarded. They have the potential to mask neurological signs of a concussion. They've been banned from boxing, among other sports, for the same reason.

I'm pretty sure the first WNBA team only achieved profitability only a few years ago. Another might have followed. This includes their NBA subsidy. They would go bankrupt if they adopted a major league level of revenue sharing even if they keep the subsidy iirc. I'm sure this means they should just be given more free money.

Penance for the 84 Bears-Raiders game.

On the Bears side McMahon got a kidney laceration that game, out for the rest of the season.

Raiders' QB1 (Jim Plunkett) was injured so they started their QB2 (Marc Wilson) who gets concussed very early on, he's taken out and they put in their QB3 (David Humm) who gets strip sacked almost immediately.

So then Wilson gets put back in, he breaks his thumb, so now Humm's back in again. Humm gets sacked so hard his front teeth fly out. Next snap his knees get annihilated and that ended his career. Raiders' QB4 is literally their punter and he refuses to go in because he doesn't want any part of that shit.

The Bears sacrificed many QBs on their way to a ring and now they are being repaid in kind.
Goodell pussy would literally explode if that happened to qbs today

Basically, yeah, and they also can worsen brain bleeds due to cerebral vasodilation. The NFL is trying to act like they're doing something.
