There's apparently a Cowboys documentary or miniseries on Netflix now. I will not be watching it. In it Jerry Jones admits that Jordan Love made him cry

The Hendrickson thing is weird. Last year, as we all know, he led the league in sacks, but that defense was still God awful. I don’t have the numbers in front of me, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were bottom 6 in most categories. Obviously if I were a GM, my football team would be going 17-0 every season and hoisting a Lombardi yearly, but I find myself just to be a regular guy.

They should’ve dealt him early on and committed to a young defense this year and then really work to build the defense for next year. It’s a shame though, their offense might be top 4 in the league for me this year, but I’m pretty firm that it’s gonna be a miracle if they win 10 games.

He's not good vs. the run and the Bengals secondary is dire. You're basically hoping that Burrow goes up two scores so the opposing team is forced to pass and then Hendrickson can eat the QB.

That's it. That's the gameplan.

It’s not even close, and its hard to take people seriously even when they try to give Brady half credit. BB would've been successful anywhere, we saw that in Cleveland before Modell (one of the worst owners in NFL history) rug pulled the season and fired everyone during the move.

I can only imagine how BB would have handled just being a head coach in Baltimore. Would he have been happy with his GM (Ozzie Newsome) like the everyone else was? Could you imagine BB getting to coach the 2000 Ravens? How many rings would Ray Lewis have ended his career with.. and could Brady have been a 6th round pick for Bal'mer instead of NE?

As a Seacucks fan, I’m already gearing up to be disappointed. But not surprised. Let the season be upon us.
Have hope. I think JSN and Walker/Charb are in for a monster year. It’s really funny to say I believe in Darnold too, but I really do this year. Also I’m a big Milroe guy.

??? There are way worse losses under his belt. A dropped field goal comes to mind. But even in recent history the 49ers losses were worse because one of those was a divisional round. This is just recency bias. Maybe his memory is shot from being old enough to go to high school with Fredrick the Great.

Even though we made rhe super bowl in 2016 (and became the laughingstock of every sport overnight) I'd rather be a cowboys fan then a falcons fan.

I dunno, it was pretty fucking bad. The game was over at halftime.

Cowboys defense looked like they just tossed 11 dudes on the field and told them to figure it out. I know Jerruh has watched a ton of football so watching your team's defense just get absolutely carved up at every level must fuck with him.

In some twisted sense. Jerry Jones cares for his Cowboys. However..... It's twisted.
I think he cares, but only so much as in it's an extension of his own ego. He'd rather the cowboys lose and get credit for it than have them win in a way he doesn't get credit for it.

He only wants them to get a chip if it's in a context where people can say "wow what an incredible and smart and involved owner Jerry Jones is!".
