LOL Shilo Sanders and Dorian Thompson-Robinson have been cut.

Shilo stinks and had a minor chimpout in a preseason game, so he got cut early. The Bucs have said they're open to having him on the practice squad iirc.

DTR actually had a promising start to camp, but then started floundering and had terrible preseason game performances. Had to cut him to make room for Sam Howell because McCord is very, developmental at the moment. Holy fuck please don't let Hurts get injured until McKee is healed up.

At least we got Big Fred back. Should have never let him go in the first place imo.

Bowles comes from, like, the old black "head ball coach" school of coaching. Getting ejected from a game when you're in the bubble is not going to fly whatsoever. I doubt he even wants him on the PS.

Oh thank God - Scary Terry got paid

3 Years, something like $96M. Totally worth it.

Look, after the Snyder Years, I’m still not used to the Redmannders doing the Smart Thing…
What if I told you this is just a future trade bait contract for Micah "don't ask about the Penn State locker room" Parsons?
Mastermind Jerry works in ways a million scientists could never figure out. Be afraid; you are never safe from a hopium huffing GM.

The Trey Hendrickson saga has been put on pause - he gets a $30 million salary this year (get him to stop holding out) and he's an unrestricted free agent after the season's over.
Soooo unless Mike Brown/Katie Blackburn is dumb enough to franchise tag him this upcoming spring, he's on another team next year.
Watch them franchise tag him this spring and start this circus all over again.

Amari Cooper is back with the Raiders on a 1 yr deal
And the Raiders have also sent injured QB Aidan O'Connell (and a 5th round draft pick next year) to the Browns for Kenny Pickett. It looks like that's how Cleveland's going to settle their quarterback room question at least for a couple of months.

It doesn't matter anyway, I have a feeling that unless any of these guys have an amazing season the Browns are just using them as a stopgap for the QB position while they rebuild the rest of the team. Once they are out of the Deshaun Watson hole that they inflicted on themselves, the Browns will definitely be going for another young QB in the draft.

He never should have been negotiating the way he has. It's against the CBA. The league lets him get away with it because the owners run the league. The NFLPA let's him get away with it because they are an inept, corrupt, and impotent union.
Pretty much. It'd be one thing if he were slightly quiet about it, but the retard is flaunting it at this point. Now it is hilarious that he's throwing a hissyfit over misconstruing a casual conversation as a signed, sealed, and delivered agreement on a hyper complicated jew contract, but how the NFLPA hasn't publicly buttraped him is beyond me. The tard is even going on a propaganda tour where he's trying to drive sympathy because it's fine that he negotiates directly with players since he's their mom or some insane shit.

I can understand why the owners aren't saying shit. He's basically the king owner and they'd all love it if agents could be bypassed during negotiations, but I haven't heard a blip from the NFLPA. I get they're currently going through their own crisis of sorts, but they're just ignoring one of the few things they explicitly have leverage over. I don't get it other than Jerruh (or the owners in general) have some sort of massive blackmail on the NFLPA that dwarfs the shit they just went through.

Guess who can throw to him? Got Kenny Pickett for a 5th round pick

Bucs cut Kyle Trask, which is kinda surprising.

He's pretty much what you want in a backup QB. Lions or 49ers should pick him up, he'd slot into those offenses well.
They have Teddy Bridgewater on the roster. So releasing the undrafted Bazelak and Trask makes sense since they kind of pushing for a win this year. Bazelak will probably be a practice squad player. Trask was going into his 5th year as a back up. If he was going to be good, they would have kept him

He's been a backup QB for his entire football career and definitely wasn't gonna play his way into being a starter. I've watched most of his games since the Bucs liked to trot him out during the preseason.

Dude's like the Miracle Whip of QBs. You just watch him and are like "eh, that's...fine."

Its not that he was going to play his way into a starter position. Its that he didn't prove himself as a good enough back up. I am guessing he is cheaper than Bridgewater but not Bazelak. But if he isn't good enough to be a back up, then he gets cut and I don't think he's good enough as a back up

They also cut my nigga Desmond Watson, which, while expected, still sucks.
>draft heaviest NFL player in history
>tell him to start cutting
>he doesn't
>cut him
>stonks

Could've just had the dude fall forward on the opposing center/guard and let Vita Vea set the interior lineman sack record, but nooooo

Lions Cut Hendon Hooker.

Sadly knew this was coming but now the focus is for the Lions to look towards the future. Goff is not getting any younger and Is due for a statistical regression. Hooker was tapped at one point to be the future QB of this franchise. Our QB room is abysmal, with that being said don't be shocked when the lions take someone young in the draft. Like that Sellars kid outta SC. Man that guy makes me act like Jon Gruden whenever he's watching tape.

Why the fuck do you draft him if you expect this?
TBF, he was an undrafted guy. No risk and relatively solid reward if they can get him on the practice squad to buy in to the "you can't play at 450 lbs in the NFL" idea.

Now the worst " why the fuck did you draft him" I can recall was something like 10-15 years ago when the Raiduhs cut a 4th round draft pick during training camp. Can't remember the name, and I'm pretty sure this was when Al Davis was still crip creepin' along, but you usually only see 6th round guys in that position and sometimes 5th.

Oh, there was also Maurice Clarett at the tail end of the 3rd, but I think that one is a bit easier to decipher.
