Even if you don't consider his weird sexual deviancies and everything that comes with that, I just don't understand how you ignore the very blatant and obvious risks.
What's funny is that fucker basically went into his own damn witness protection program the minute he stepped into Cleveland. Never said or did anything.

Browns could've voided his contract and sued to claw back the remaining signing bonus if he ever went to prison. Dude was like nah I'm good, I'm gonna calm down on forcing massage artists to glimpse the dick and balls.

I know one thing for this season - my Redmannders aren't repeating the Cinderella Run they had last season. Be it a Sophmore Slump or other teams now having studied tape of Daniels with the Commanders, I'll be incredibly surprised if they make it back to the NFC Championship. I'm pulling a Steelers fan and just hoping for 9-8, anything beyond that is Bonus Points.

Least we don't have the worst owner in the Division anymore - getting to laugh at both Snyder and Jerruh is an opportunity I'm not going to pass up.
Credit where it's due, going from the season they had before Daniels, to literally making the NFCCG with no flashy acquisitions in FA, other than hiring Dan Quinn and drafting JD5 IS impressive, but there's no way you can recreate that success two years in a row, Eagles sweep the NFCE.

The realistic take is that I'm expecting a second season from Daniels that's nowhere near the level we got out of him Year 1.

If I was delusional, I'd be screaming "Commies gunta Supah Bowl!" If they get off to an amazing start - and both the Eagles and the Chiefs both just completely shit the bed - it might be less crazy, but that'd require the Eagles to shoot themselves in the foot and the Chiefs to... idk, have the rest of the AFC actually try to be competition instead of just the Ravens and Bills, the former having to deal with Playoff Lamar, the latter the Chiefs own in the Playoffs...

If I'm being totally honest, I'm not expecting the Eagles D to be the powerhouse it was last year, praying for Vic Fangio to prove me wrong but we lost a handful of great players since the SB, and Howie confusingly is addicted to trading for and signing Wide Receivers over Edge Rushers when we already have enough depth on that between Brown, Smitty, arguably Dotson and likely Johnny Wilson this year.

Giants are the only real X-factor this year in the division if Jaxon Dart and Nabers is actually decent like Daniels and Scary Terry were last year, but I have a feeling other than them the NFCE is ours.

You better tell him to keep up his "honorary hwite man" status and light it up since I drafted him in fantasy. If not, I'll grab the rope.

Speaking of fantasy football, imagine how lit the chats are since Thursday's trade. Especially if there's a known Cowboys fan. Double especially if there's a known Cowboys fan and a known Packers fan. I toom the opportunity to be unbearable so I swear to god, Micah. I SWEAR TO GOD, don't make me regret it.

Fishing for interest, in case anyone is interested.
I do weekly NFL Betting threads on rdrama. We bet mostly useless points accumulated from upvotes on site on every game throughout the season + playoffs. Bets are democratized in terms of risk/payout at that given second, it's a crude system, but this is also a website that bets about the races of the latest shooter and whether rockets will blow up.
We get maybe ~30 people per game betting one way or another on an average regular season week, but it also picks up during the playoffs. If anyone wants to join there's no e-mail or anything requried, I can front you some dramacoins to start betting if you DM @ Dramamine.
I might try to scrape data and track wins/loses in the future, but for now I'm too busy. It's just week to week fun.
My only other draw is we have cat emojis. It took like 3 tries to AI gen that football marsey

Dart was the most impressive rookie in preseason IMO, not that it means much. I feel like he's gonna get injured doing something stupid like trying to hurdle a DT or something though.

He reminds me a lot of Baker personality wise.

Can't forget Hugh Culverhouse, man was responsible for the Bucs' troubles in the early years. Also obligatory "Fuck you, Spanos".
Putting two teams in the same city and in the same stadium is so fucking stupid from a fan perspective. I still can't believe they allowed it. The Chargers are now just a complete afterthought.

It works for the Jets and Giants, but New York's jews are less homosexual than LA jews.

I think that whole mess was an intentional strategy to double down and ensure a foothold in LA come hell or high water. The Raiduhs and Chargers has a deal in place for an LA stadium before the Jerruh Jones slobbed Stan Kroenke's knob. They knew that Mark Davis and the Spanos' were cheap/poor (as far as NFL owners go) and did not want either of them fucking up their presence in LA. It doesn't help that Dean Spanos (and sons) are submissive cuckolds and jumped at the opportunity to be Stan Kroenke's gimp.

Some interesting news regarding Micah Parsons: despite people thinking he was faking back issues as a negotiation tactic, it turns out he literally has a joint sprain in his back and is likely going to have to require an epidural injection to play in Sunday's game. Possibly to play every game this season.

And suddenly it looks like this trade might backfire on the Packers.
Not a doctor, but i can read out facts.

1. This sprain is near the shoulder blades and has the most pressure felt during tackles. This isn't a SPINAL injury.
2. Epidural has already been administered. Given the fact that Parson was seen practicing earlier today, it clearly seems like he's being given the usual cautions that most players get when dealing with football-related stuff.

3. The Packers have already cleared Micah Parsons for Sunday. He's good to go, but WILL be on a "Pitch count".

With this in mind, Micah Parsons, should be fine. Any news about injury is something I personally am not going to be giving any weight to unless he is held out of the game. What I do see is him being on a semi snap count, considering this issue, AND having to learn certain scheme stuff.

I still don't really understand why they got Darnold, him and Geno are basically one in the same. Geno is mid/average sure but I saw some pretty subpar oline play from Seattle and that certainly doesn't help.
From what I've heard, there's been a scheme change (Grubb college adapted spread to generic NFL zone run scheme) with the new OC they brought in. A lot of fans are responding well to this style (hinges on Kenneth Walker not exploding).
You are most likely gonna see less deep ball plays, more play action, more running, more checkdowns, less motion.
Sam Darnold is being brought in to game manage in a system that doesn't actually put him in the focal point of an offense.
Geno Smith was allowed to sling the ball deep many times, Darnold will at most throw semi-risky medium yardage passes and completely blown coverage deep balls. He will also hand the ball off a lot.
That's the difference on why they let Geno go and why they got Darnold instead.
