That was a hell of a game. It's not often you come across a team that you just cannot count out, and the Bills are one of those teams. They have all the pieces to be the team to beat every season right now, they just need to get over the jump in the playoffs.

Wtf was that last drive? Henry runs for a very fucking obvious run in to a stacked box. Then a dog shit trick play that failed LAST TIME. Then you're 3 yards short and punt so your dog shit defense, which has been gassed for a quarter and a half to lose it for you?

I'm so fucking tired of this undisciplined bullshit from a Garbaugh team. They know the refs are gonna be all over their nuts, so they show up and shit the bed all fucking game.

Zero fucking adjustments in the second half either on the defensive side. I'm tired of them just recruiting from Garbaugh's yes men like Orr, or recruiting his brother's friends for our DCs. We already wasted a high 2nd round pick on one of Jim's scrub pass rushers.

Baltimore are supervillains. They’re purple, their mascot is a raven, and their team is filled with spooks.

Can we at least be a fucking villain that WINS like the Patriots did?

About that lmao.

Lamar is the most unclutch QB in the league.

Fuckin Lamar wasn't the one who fumbled the game away. He got the first down, all Henry had to do was hold on to the ball.

Maybe they’re just trying to get Playoff Lamar out of his system early in the season, so that way they can actually win a playoff game that isn’t just the yearly trouncing of the Steelers in the Wildcard.

It’s not like we can’t predict the Ravens, Bills, and Chiefs all getting to the Playoffs.

It's legitimately insane. Watch some of the clips of Gruden losing his mind when talking to QBs entering the draft, or Tom Brady's recent comments on the position. Football teams are always looking for ways to streamline things, make players more efficient by reducing their decisions making, minimizing variables on the field, etc. They've dumbed down the position SO much to maximize QBs skillsets, and they've either lost or are close to losing, the things that set guys like Brady, Manning, Rodgers apart.

What I'm interested to see is if it's the type of shit that's gone forever, or if a super smart QB that sees everything pre-snap and has genius-tier decision making, is able to come up, blow everyone away, and redefines the position back to that style of QB.

Either way, yeah. College QBs basically slap their hands to hike the ball, run whatever RPO was called, rinse, and repeat ATM.
I think at least for now we still have a pretty decent amount of balance but it's definitely trending towards more running and more simplicity. A well balanced league allows success for at least three quarterback prototypes:

1. The elite pocket passer, a field general who is like a second OC on the field.
2. The elite running QB with a big arm. Not as much pre-snap talent, but still needs to make a lot of tough split second decisions that harshly punish errors.
3. The Nick Foles type, thriving purely on big dick energy. Is he obviously a statue? Sure. But throw him in a college option offense relying on a running QB and he'll throw 27 TDs and 2 interceptions and you'll still go 10-6 anyway.

#3 is the ideal draft target because of the versatility. If you aren't prepared to measure, you aren't ready to be an NFL GM. You think Howie Roseman is scared?

Jacksonville Jeets owner had me laughing my ass off. Imagine if this is what your owner sounded like :lossmanjack:

LOL I just realized that the Chiefs were the only AFC West team to lose in Week 1.
