With that in mind, the Steelers need to start losing games at some point unless they're going to go through a late season collapse rivaling the 2020 season.
My current bet is they get to 9 wins then collapse. The Division is theirs to lose, considering Baltimore and Cinci are both dealing with worst case scenario's, and the Browns are the Browns. Either way, they’ll keep the pointless streak alive, get their winning season, and likely be eliminated in the Wildcard by a real team - hell, considering the state of some other teams this season so far, maybe an actual First Round exit instead.

Look, I WANT them to prove me wrong - either finally win the Big One with a team fully built by Tomlin, or just accept that they can’t keep kicking the can on this rebuild they should’ve started when Ben retired.

He's not even worth a roster spot, he's that bad. I don't think he has the talent or durability to have a role like Kordell Stewart or Taysom Hill.
I still don't see what scouts saw in him to be such a high draft pick, outside of arm power. Cause he didn't look that great at Florida his final year.

Every coach thinks they can be the one to "fix" the player. Some players can't be fixed though. Its like Justin Fields, doesn't matter how many coaches come to the same conclusion, there's always some coach will think he can fix him. The NFL isn't for everyone.

Yah, but most players have the potential for a breakout year where something clicks, or the situation fits them perfectly. Look at the year the Vikings had to throw Keenum out there, and he lit the world on fire just to come crashing back down the next year.

That's not saying EVERY player has the potential for it, mind you. But a lot of them do. It just never happens for them.

I don't disagree with this either. Coaches are very stubborn to the point of stupidity. They dont care that a player has skill x, they will try to get him to play with skill y instead because a coach will never change the scheme he runs unless he gets fired.

I just think some players can't make it at the NFL level, even if they are athletic freaks. This mostly applies to QBs though. Just like so many players dont go to the NFL because they aren’t athletic enough, some players aren't smart enough or have the dedication needed to play at a high level.

At the very least, I'm beginning to question why Jake Browning didn't simply throw the ball to Ja'Marr Chase every play. Flacco is doing it and it seems to be working out pretty well.

How you gonna give up 470 yards of offense to Old Man Flacco and the Bungles?

Aaron Rodgers throwing a 69 yard hail mary attempt to close out the game
Old Man Brady could never

I'll die on the hill that Browning is an intelligent quarterback. His issue, dating back to him going undrafted, is that he has a weak arm. His great year at Washington where was throwing to John Ross and Dante Pettis, guys who could house it after a short throw. He just dosn't have an arm that can consistently get it down the field. Just comparing it to Flacco today, it's night and day.

Could Old Man Brady run for 15 yards at 40 years old on the 9 yard line? No, only Old Joe is that Elite.

Rodgers did ball out, though.
I'm a little resentful of Flacco because he looks like he'll drag that Bengals roster to wins kicking and screaming and crush my dreams of a team with a losing record winning the AFC North.
But yeah, grandpa Joe cooked, wonder why Jake Browning never came up with "I'll just force the ball to Chase, that's a good trick".

Unfathomable how terrible the Steelers defense is.
Don’t they boast the Most Expensive Defence in the NFL?

Look I don’t trust this team anyway, so I just expect these things from the Steelers

If it wasn’t Flacco, it’d be Burrow - seriously what is it with Cinci and QB’s named Joe - dragging this practice squad kicking and screaming as far as he could.

God I hope Burrow requests a Trade, he’s gonna die if he stays with the Bungals…
