Who is the best head coach in the NFL?

It’s not necessarily about having the best record, but which current head coach consistently meets or exceeds expectations with the player talent at his disposal?
Don't see how it could be anyone but Andy Reid.

I’m not so sure about that. The Chiefs lost a not insignificant amount of talent this season and they’re really struggling.

Given the way this game and this season is going, I'm thinking Vrabel.
That is a good pick. The Pats aren’t blessed with tons of talent, but they’re certainly performing very well.

And I wasn’t sold on Vrabel due to his mediocre tenure with Tennessee.

Koo just Charlie Browned the everliving fuck out of a kick. Can't wait for the clip!

Edit: Got it

I've been a firm believer in Vrabel being the only thing holding the Titans together for years. Amy-what's-her-name freeing him from durance vile while there was an open position in Foxborough was a top 5 dumb move even by her standards.

Annnnnd he's on IR...

That’s hilarious! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like that.
Here's another angle.

Imagine what's running through the punter's head. I somewhat doubt they run a simulation drill during practice for this type of scenaro. He's just running a bootleg and looking for a receiver when there was never gonna be receiver. LOL

Even if it was never going to work out, that's still a smarter play than doing nothing and maybe giving up a forced fumble.

Only better way he could have reacted would have just been to snap-throw it out of bounds to avoid taking the "sack." Can't blame him for not thinking of it, but it should be one of the options coached to holders for the rare fake field goal situation. Unless that team doesn't have that in the playbook.

The Giants probably don't have that in the playbook.

The greatest thing about being a Giants fan is the never-ending rollercoaster of them somehow getting your hopes up once more that we will be a successful franchise again before preceding to reach new lows you thought was beyond capable.

I always think I have seen it all with this franchise but the know exactly how to embarrass the fanbase in new ways. At least we aren't as bad as the Jets though.

I've gotta go with Vrabel. He's developing the talent he does have and is (along with McDaniels) making something really impressive out of Maye. He's also got a great team culture going, just look at him in the tunnel after every game. There's not a player on that team that isn't getting recognition and, I'm sure, development.

I was super happy with this game, even if the Giants suck. I really like Dart, but man he needs to protect himself more. Would hate to see him in the tent again.

Edit: I'm also loving how the Pats seemed to have understood the strengths of both Stevenson and Henderson. Stevenson is an excellent North-South guy, he's built for running up the middle for a few yards. They're reserving Henderson for squirrely evasive plays where he can break out for some great yardage. Love to see both of them have a function on the team.

IDK, I think they teach players to just fall onto the ball and take the lost play in those situations, but yeah, he didn't take the worst option. If I were in that situation, I'd be running backwards like Shedeur and yelling "OH SHIT, OH SHIT, OH SHIT".

It's a kick on 4th down. Jumping on the ball at the spot of the snap is better than backpedling with it and still getting tackled for an turnover with negative yardsage/positive Pats yardage.
Dude was just scared for his life and hoping for a backyard football miracle
