I'm going to be really generous and point out that this is the time of year the front office of any team, but desperate teams especially, are fucking pulling insane hours and he is almost certainly running on adderall, red bull, and fumes right now.
If Glenn doesn't nail this draft, he will undoubtedly be the scapegoat over the GM they hired last May.

Hell is real and we created it

Anyone who wants their computer to talk to them in the voice and face of a smug sports "analyst" should just be ground up into soylent green. There's no saving them.

The Combine is boring as fuck, so on the surface I can't blame Aaron Glenn for falling asleep. But since that's his job and he's coming off a historically awful season, he should stay awake or don't bother going.

I'm trying to find what I think is an NFL shop commercial from years ago. A man and a woman are arguing in the stadium parking lot about who will win. The woman is wearing a Vikings jersey and the man asks something along the lines of "Why, because purple? Is purple going to win today?".

Everyone is talking about Kyle Murray to the vikings and if that actually happens I will take a break for the season. The guy is legit fucking terrible, he is a pipsqueak and can't throw in the middle of the field. I'd rather have Geno. @Absolutego thoughts on a QB swap? lol

Geno, after what he looked like last season, on the worst team in the league? Yeah they're both QBs with a ceiling below the Super Bowl but I would rather have the guy who at least has sometimes shown sparks of game-changing talent here and there. He might be short and maybe he won't be that good at football but at least he'll be fucking watchable.

Vikings QB Room will be Kirk Cousins, Joe Flacco, and JJ McCarthy

lol I think we're good, going back to bad scrambles->bad sacks and high turnover volume gives me 2010's flashbacks.

Murray and Tua look to be obvious post-June 1 cuts. There's no serious trade market for them. Take what I said about stupid GMs not being stupid enough to trade for Kirk Cousins' Falcons contract and amplify it 5x for those two. I'm pretty sure the rumors are just sports media trying to do their respective teams a favor and fabricate FOMO among the rest of the league.

It really needs to be emphasized how much the Broncos reaching the AFC championship two years after biting the bullet and swallowing the dead cap to rid themselves of Russell Wilson's contract changed the game. These two in particular were my immediate concern, they rode the heights of mid, inconsistent first rounders getting a bloated contract they'd never live up to rather than teams risking QB hell again. Now we have castoff after castoff showing that the league has had a QB development problem for probably the last decade, if not more, and I don't think we're going to see wishy-washy high draft pick prospects get massive contracts to lock them down anymore.

Kyler is underwhelming, but he is nowhere near as bad as Geno. Considering how terrible McCarthy played, why would you not want to have Murray there for the right price? I could see a playoff berth with a Murray-led Vikings team.

Damn we got the mangled body of penix then who else? we got the worst QB room in the league bar none. When the jets QB situation is looking good it's bad
To me, the rumors are even more horrifying than the current state of the room itself. Insider reports are hinting towards us picking up fucking TUA.

Another factor to take into consideration when talking about Geno vs Murray is Geno is 7 years older, that also should be considered as a factor
Yeah but Geno's shown he can thrive in an environment that caters to his skills (dude's terrible recent performances were with Ryan Grubb and Chip Kelly as his OC, one entirely un-prepared for NFL playcalling and the other a known professional football terrorist who had to flee back to cfb before he could hoodwink another team), while Kyler's pretty conclusively demonstrated it does not matter what kind of scheme you build for him, he has fundamental limitations as a player and work ethic questions on top of it.

Neither are long-term options, they're bridge guys to prepare your QB of the future for all the league will throw at them and keep you looking serviceable. That is rather emphatically not Kyler.

True.. My point tho was Geno has the issue of being close or at the point where the body of a NFL player starts to decline, It wasn't intended as an endorsement of Murray buttbt if ny tem ws to potentially get Geno they should be careful how in how long to make a contract to.
