Not gonna lie... I'm part of the evil empire and I typically root for the Pats, but this time I really wanted to see the Chiefs make it since they were kicking so much ass this season and tbh I'm kinda tired of seeing the Pats in the Superbowl all the fucking time. Two in a row was great. Three? C'mon now son, now this is just getting silly.

Ah well, at least the commercials will hopefully be interesting. or at least less scummy as Gilette's.

Okay so its Patriots vs. Rams in two weeks at Atlanta in Superbowl LIII. It will be Tom Brady's 9th super bowl appearance as he faces the team he won his first super bowl against in 2002. This the rams 4th appearance in the Super Bowl and New England's 11th appearance. It is also New England's 3rd straight Super Bowl appearance.

Both games ticked me off yesterday as I felt like they were largely determined by bad calls from the refs.

The officiating in the NFC title game was down right awful all the game long. The non-PI call at the end was the worst offense, but it was like the refs were wearing blindfolds all game long.

And that Roughing the Passer call at the end...just wow. I've seen some bad roughing the passer calls, and I've seen Tom draw a lot of terrible roughing the passer calls, but that one really took the cake.

I'm not saying that the Saints and the Chiefs could/should have won, but I hate it when the referee's incompetence influences the game, especially when the game is as big as the two we had yesterday.

They stole that game from the Saints, plain and simple. It's one thing to be outplayed but when awful referees influence the outcome of an entire game it's very frustrating. Gonna be another who gives a shit superbowl this year.

They absolutely would have won had the ref called that blatant PI penalty (or the helmet to helmet). The pass interference penalty would result in a first down and IIRC Rams had only one timeout left. All they would have had to do is run down the clock and kick a field goal, game over, Saints in the Superbowl. That kinda shit makes me sick.

It was a helluva game and thankfully it was well officiated as well.

The guy holding the replay Surface Pro hopefully got more than than the usual cheap ass NFL per diem -- he was called into duty time and time again and he held that Surface, risking potential frost bite!

And today, with that absolute shit show of a no-call in the Saints game is the perfect time to remind everybody that the cheap ass NFL DOESN'T HAVE FULL TIME OFFICIALS. FFS. Multi billion dollar league and the officials are part timers. Bruh.

That saints non-call was fucked, I don't get how the fuck that happens.

The pats/chiefs game certainly had some bad calls, tough to say who they favored honestly, the NFL refs seem to think it's simply not possible to interfere with Gronkowski, even if you're holding him.

That roughing call for the guy... touching brady was bullshit.

The NFL needs to allow challenges not just to the results of a play, but also for calls and non-calls. Also, they need to get rid of the challenge flag limit and just use the timeouts. If a challenge is successful it means the refs fucked up, why should the team be penalized?

Super Bowl TV ad that punches back at Nike's promotion of Colin Kaepernick and his national anthem protests has been rejected by CBS.


According to the firm, Nine Line Apparel, CBS was apparently not satisfied the firm could pay for the 45-second ad, despite having annual revenues of $25 million. A spokesman for Nine Line charged that CBS didn’t like the ad’s content.

The ad features soldiers, first responders, and images of military graves decorated with American flags and gives credit to them for protecting the rights of those like Kaepernick to protest.
