Uhhh huh, well guess my Chargers will win something by having Anthony Lynn as head coach.
"BREAKING: NFL owners will vote next week on a resolution that would improve a team's draft position if it hires a person of color as head coach or general manager, per sources. Currently there are only 2 black GMs & 4 HCs of color, matching 17-year low"
As someone pointed out in the replies, just wait for Belichick to hire a minority GM purely for the draft spot
Hires a Nigger off the street for a joint and a bottle of jack, locks him in a cage 364 days, lets him out once to dance with the mascot.

I hope he just retires (I have a personal interest from the NFC). Then the crying O'leans fans will cry more when they realize they are back to the Ain'ts. He already gave them a team friendly deal. No need to put up with this faggotry--let them die on the vine.Well, Drew Brees has been cancelled now. Didn't see that coming.
I'd be intersted. Are there enough Kiwis interested in fantasy football to the point where we could run our own league? Appreciate the fact that this thread isn't very active but then it is the off season right now.

Drew Brees didn’t do anything wrong except voice his own opinion. Key word: OPINIONI hope he just retires (I have a personal interest from the NFC). Plus on the bright side, one is on the verge of being a Hall of Fame quarterback along with Aaron Rogers (even if the latter technically caved by joining the mob to “cancel” Brees). Meanwhile on the other side, one is still unemployed and was used as a pawn due to his literal publicity stunt that both ratings and attendance continued to plummet until the Chiefs won the Super Bowl.
The point is, Brees should not have apologized, but I guess he still has to play the “make all sides happy” card so he still has some popularity.

What's missing from these protests and the coverage thereof is any awareness or recognition that despite their superficially radical rhetoric and symbolism, they are fully supported by the government, corporate, cultural, media, and technocratic power centers of US society

1. Adios Goodell and NFL. If you think so little of your fellow citizens and so many of your fans, who are law-abiding, people-loving Americans, and law-enforcement that protects all of you and your mostly taxpayer-subsidized stadiums, then go to hell.

I wonder how many of these rich black players will continue to support BLM when the league runs out of money and cant pay them. Its all Virtue Signaling from their mansions until they are playing to half empty stadiums #nfl #BoycottNFL #takeakneeloseyourfee #TakeTheKnee

I haven’t watched an NFL game in over 5 yrs. it’s a 4hr propaganda video with 15min of game time!! tax payers should not be subsidizing these stadiums. Let the players and leagues pay for them!

I was a life-long Dallas Cowboy fan, remember wearing my Blue and Silver Cowboys jacket every day to elementary school with pride. After witnessing the Drew Brees Psy-op this week against US Veterans and Patriots, I vow to walk away from the @NFL permanently. #ripNFL

UFC doesn't play the anthem before their events in the US, and nobody shits themselves over that.Imagine not watching something you enjoy because somebody takes a knee during the special song
Literally never understood why this bothers anybody, it’s a football game not a military rally. I wouldn’t care if they skipped the anthem altogether
It's never worth paying big bucks for a running back. They are the most injury-prone position in football, and have the shortest average careers out of any position, if my memory serves me correct. You're much better off drafting a new RB and investing that cap space elsewhere.Dalvin Cook is apparently going to hold out unless he gets a new contract from the Vikings. As talented as he is, I don't think he's going to get what he wants. With Ezekiel Elliot being maybe the only exception, RBs that have gotten these huge extensions over the past few seasons have severely underperformed. I'm not surprised, and I don't blame any team that's not willing to throw big, long term deals at backs when these contracts have been notoriously bad for the past 5 seasons at least.
CMC is the only exception, but at $16M/yr is still extremely expensive. He was 3rd is rushing yards and 2nd in receptions in the league (behind Michael Thomas and ahead of DeAndre Hopkins) & hasn't missed a game--the ultimate workhorse.Dalvin Cook is apparently going to hold out unless he gets a new contract from the Vikings. All this, while running behind a average O-Line unlike the stellar Cowboys line.
Or why they salute veterans at matches. What does patriotism really have to do with non international sporting events anyways? In the NBA and NHL it makes a bit more sense as there are teams from multiple countries (Canada and US) but why if its just one country?Imagine not watching something you enjoy because somebody takes a knee during the special song
