Agreed about the Mahomes stuff. I think he's probably the best QB in the league right now (not exactly the hottest take to make) but it's way too soon to anoint him the GOAT. Mahomes is a guy that I can certainly see a big leg injury or something happening to him in the future that could really reduce his effectiveness big time because of his play style. On top of that Brady has played a lot of pro football while being very durable. We're talking about a guy who since becoming a full time NFL starter has only missed 19 career games since 2002 (15 in back in 2008 when he got hurt in the season opener, and a quarter of the season back in 2016). Mahomes has 41 career regular season starts as of today. Brady has 41 career playoff starts. I think it's probably fair to say that Mahomes will go down as one of the greats, but it's foolish to call him as the inevitable GOAT right now.

Welp apparently James Conner tested positive for the coof today.

This game is never getting played is it?

edit: According to this tweet from PFT earlier today we should be "bracing for multiple additional positives", though currently Conner and some unnamed coach appear to be the only confirmed positives. Hopefully that's the extent of the outbreak, but at this point it's all speculation. I'll keep an eye out for updates and add them to this post as they come.

All 3 of Denver's QBs are ineligible to play tomorrow because of covid. Denver can't get another replacement QB, either, because of covid rules

Believe it or not it's actually all four that are ineligible (Rypien, Bortles and Lock that were deemed "high risk" after being around Driskel). I was just reading that they will likely play a practice squad wide receiver named Kendall Hinton who played QB at Wake Forest.

All four Denver Broncos quarterbacks are ineligible to face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday due to COVID-19 protocols, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Drew Lock, Brett Rypien, and Blake Bortles were deemed high-risk close contacts to Jeff Driskel, who tested positive Thursday, because they weren't wearing masks, according to Schefter.

The Broncos won't forfeit the contest, a source told Schefter, and the game hasn't been postponed.

The NFL instructed the Broncos to remove Lock, Rypien, and Bortles from the practice field Saturday before the session began as the league reviewed contact tracing.

Denver is likely to use Kendall Hinton - a practice squad wide receiver who played quarterback at Wake Forest - on an emergency basis, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Third-string running back Royce Freeman is considered the Broncos' emergency quarterback and could also take snaps, reports Mike Klis of 9News.

Former UCF passer Rob Calabrese, who graduated in 2012 and works for Denver as an offensive quality control coach, ran the offense Saturday at practice. The NFL won't allow the Broncos to sign Calabrese to the active roster, according to Klis. Denver can't sign a free agent because of the mandatory five-day incubation period in light of the pandemic.

All the news unfolded while the Saints were on a plane traveling to Denver.

Caldwell should never have been let go. Especially for a done nothing slug.

This game is really going to come down to which of these trash defenses gets tired first; a hollowed-out Colts defense, or a consistently incompetent Titans defense.

Guess we got our answer, Colts defense. 28-14. They have no answer for Derrick Henry, and he's not showing any mercy.

Latest news from Steelers - Ravens. Mark Andrews (Ravens starting TE) tested positive today. So far the Ravens have 20 players on the covid/reserve list. Also, as far as I can tell, no more positives have come out of Pittsburgh since yesterday. All I know is that if this game gets played it's going to be a fucking shitshow.

Imagine, just last week you geared up against the 2nd best team in the conference. It was a wild duel, and you were only seconds away from giving them another upset...

Then the very next week you're looking at 6-40 in the fourth quarter, getting your shit slammed by the Atlanta Falcons. Life comes at you fast Raiders. :story:

If you hate QB's completing passes, then Saints-Broncos is the game for you. I can see why there were rumors of Saints players wanting Winston to play QB
EDIT: Points have since been put up by the Saints.

EDIT 2: The Jaguars have fired their GM

And all thanks to one strength and conditioning coach bringing that shit in. Nice work medical team, the man showed up to work with symptoms and you didn't send his ass home.

You can add in Baltimore WR Willie Snead as part of that COVID list now

Yeah, not gonna lie, these Buccaneers don't look like a fucking playoff team at all.

And of course as soon as I say that Brady drops a bomb on Mike Evans lmao. It's still Tom Brady at the end of the day.

1-9 for 13 yards and 2 interceptions lol good job Broncos coaching staff not even helping Kendall Hinton anywhere near as much as Dallas did for Ben DiNucci

Surely they could have given him some easier throws to try, he did play QB in high school and was a backup QB in college. I doubt that he was that rusty/bad at being a QB that he couldn't have made some short range one read throws

I mean, give the guy some screen passes or something. Just dump off to the RBs/TEs. Something easy.
