The main reason for putting them in water is to get them to shit. they love shitting in water, because the water helps their tummy's I guess?

I guess a good soak can make pooping more pleasant. My juvenile always poops in his bath water, and you can tell he's pleased with himself each time.

I can count on my hand the number of times mine has shit in his cage, and each and every time he has gotten so pissed off he completely destroys his cage, last time he did it, according to my phone, was probably some time early last year, and this is the result.

The poo is either on the red napkin/blanket, or under that carpet fold, can't remember. Look at his bitch ass smile, he's so fucking proud of himself. and yes, his cage is too small, but it's a fucking 40 gallon, looking into making a new one.
