The only political message I have

Don't label it as a sinister motive when it's probably incompetence.
It may not be necessarily sinister in the sense of some industry conspiracy to discredit the truth, but most journalism, even investigative, is naturally representing the viewpoint of the writer. The problem arises in that the majority of American news outlets are comprised of journalists in their rich cozy little bubbles and they likely have no frame of understanding outside of that. Perhaps that's not necessarily malicious, but it's not incompetence - it's a willful decision on the part of these people to ignore shit that's uncomfortable to them and push what's considered newsworthy and "correct" in the eyes of the ones above them holding the bag.

It's scary to think about how many seemingly intelligent people in my life choose to blindly trust the media. And if I mention my distrust for one reason or another, I'm branded as a "conspiracy theorist." Those shitbag journalists are not to underestimated. They're playing the long game here.

To be completely fair, it’s probably because in their head they’re trying to group you with people who post things like:

Oy vey, no no no, Goy! Don’t you know that not believing everything written by the (correct) mainstream media is antisemetic, racist and homophobic? Sure would be a shame if someone would call you a bigot on Twitter, freeze your bank account and kick your website off of the internet; don’t ya think so, Goy?

to accomplish their own agenda. You can rarely disagree with the media these days when the /pol/ types are so loud. Of course they don’t actually care about honesty in media, and they have their own goals while trying to use the popular discontent with the media to accomplish it.

There is still no evidence this person is dead, and there's actually some evidence he's still alive.

The only thing I want every single person to learn from using this website is to TRUST NOBODY. The government, universities, and journalists all lie - either covertly, overtly, or through omission. When you read something, you must internalize that it is written by a fleshbag just like you and they have a motivation for what they're writing. They are trying to imprint something on your playdough brain and no matter how impartial they're trying to be, they are going to process what they say through their own interpretation of reality.

If you can't independently verify something, it conjecture. It doesn't matter if it's a respected publication, government agency, or university stating it. It's bullshit unless you can prove it yourself.
I wish this article was posted to here so I could attach a Late emote to it. I'm pretty sure even the DDOS trannies have moved on from this by now

Fuck journalists and FUCK JANNIES.

You can always tell when its a slow news day at USA Today when they resort to "IS KIWIFARMS KILLING YOUR KIDS?!?!!!!1!"
May the gods forbid they ever have to get out their wide brimmed hat with "Press" card in the band, put down their iPhone and do some acutal investigating. Lucky for us they see what the general groupthinks opinion is on social media and regurgitate the same three talking points to appear like they've got the pulse of the public. Exemplifying why they're a redundant dying industry thirsting for clicks with abysmal circulation numbers. Print is dead, trust in them has dropped and will never rise again. And its all their own making.

Apologies if this has been touched on and I've just missed it, but has any actual news publication (and I mean non-gaming news, non-whatever Forbes calls the anyone can apply to write an article that pays the person solely in clicks and they aren't actually employed by Forbes) touched on the alleged suicide? I'd have thought any serious publication would at least require an obituary before it reported on a suicide being more than alleged.
