The faction leaders are all women, literally every single one. No faction in the entire game has a male leader.
incorrect. one of the factions, the Halcyon Holdings Corporate Board, has 2 male leaders, and another faction, the Iconoclasts, have their leader Graham Bryant, though technically they have 2 de facto leaders, graham and zora blackwood
sources: its on the wikia for the game

Are there even any prominent male characters in this game? The faction leaders are all women, literally every single one. No faction in the entire game has a male leader.

The only notable male character besides the player if they make a male PC is Rick Sanchez (I don't remember the character's actual name)
There's that priest party member guy, but literally all I remember about him is the line where he can't read fucking French.

Private Division released a v1.2 patch for the Spacer's Choice Edition. The general consensus for this version is it runs better on PC and Steam Deck, but it still has loads of problems on Playstation and Xbox.

It is supposed to come out in 2025 for PC, Xbox and PS5.
This is probably the only game I am actually looking forward too.
It looks way too similar to the first one for how long it's been in development, not a good sign.
"Twice as long as the first!"
Great, so we go from 30 hours worth of content to 60, which is about what you get in OW1 with all the DLCs anyways.
It seems you can now throw grenades and melee bash with a gun out(forgot if you could do that in OW1). The fact we haven't seen anything about jetpacks, which were seen in the teaser made years ago, is also not good.
"It will come with everything the the first game should have!"
So restoration of all the cut content? There is plenty of it btw but nobody cares to document it properly.

Honestly, it looks like a third DLC pack rather than a brand new game, and for all we know there was a third DLC episode that they cannibalized into the sequel. As long as there is more of the same, but better, I honestly don't care. I just want more, and with proper mod support this time. Tim Cain supposedly still works with Obsidian on this game, so this gives me a little bit of hope that it won't end up like Pillars of Eternity 2 or Avowed with at least one tardwrangler around. The first game also has a good hook for the second one, so I am at the very least curious to see if we will see the conclusion to the Earth question.

Since they want to make a big deal about sequels and doubling everything why do I get the feeling this means they're going to be doubling the ram requirements from spacers choice edition, which already tripled the ram usage from the standard edition (nice optimization there devs)

I hope there are more weapons this time around. The first game had probably the worst weapon variety I've ever seen in a AAA game.

Three pistols, two assault rifles, and two shotguns.

I'm optimistic about the game, both dlc were a step in the right direction, and this looks like they've improved on the limited enemies/models.
I love the retrofuturistic aesthetic, and am glad Avowed's wokescold art director had no part in it.

I never would have thought I'd have been happier about this than the Witcher IV.

Bought the 'remaster' of the first one recently, actually runs well with the updates having stacked up. Sure it's "boring", each zone has 1-4 quests and basically only two very apparent build-related ways of beating them. I do like the companions having abilities that I use on rotation instead of >le vats, cause vats on a fps shooter is retarded to begin with. It freezes every unit in the game while they do their attack, but sometimes not? I've no idea honestly. Not a bad $20 rpg- now years after and a remaster as well.

Then again, these days performance > gameplay. New SW outlaws ain't bad, but runs like shit. Jedi 2 ain't bad, but runs like shit. Tales of Arise is good and cheap as shit; runs so poorly I can't play it. Jesus christ I hate video games.

i think they meant figuratively, also from what i read from you about cut content none of it would have made the game better.
Oh my... the space lesbian simulator is back 🤮
exactly, if they showed us some hotties and maybe some dude going "i want to shove my cock down her throat she has perfectly good dick sucking lips" then i'd be hyped for it

I fucking hate modern overly colorful super saturated art design. I'd rather have the much maligned brown and grey hallways than the glitter puke of current day.
There's an old Ebert review of that shitty sci fi Twilight movie ripoff Jupiter Ascending that says "my eyes constantly felt like they were being raped by an exploding fireworks and cotton candy factory."

That's how I feel about the nauseating overly saturated pastel color palate of like 90% of new games.
