I've noticed this interesting trend of FTMs "de-transitioning" to the best of their ability, after they get their boobs cut off and go on T for years. I can only imagine it's REAL dysphoria creeping up on them since they've been trying to force themselves to live as a man for years. OR it's because they transitioned in their late teens/early 20s, and now it's a 5, 6, 7 years later and they realized they've made a huge mistake and can't go back, so settle for being nonbinary ("genderfucked" and "girl boy thing" are both terms I've unironically seen used).

This is a massively understated motive for why some pooners transition. I've seen a lot of speculation on this thread that it's an abuse reaction, porn addiction, or just plain attention-seeking, but a lot of people underestimate the sheer narcissism these girls have. They can't STAND the idea that men and boys have access to an entire world and experiences they simply can't have, or that men might have a biological advantage over women in some fields/aspects, and the fact that this cuts both ways (i.e., being female has its perks as well that men can't have) is irrelevant to them; they DEMAND access to this male existence and the advantages that come with it (but not the costs, of course) to reassure themselves that they aren't "missing out".

It also delights them to be able to speak from a position of moral authority on both male and female issues -- transitioning becomes a way to make them feel especially enlightened and socially powerful and knowledgeable. It's also a form of control, as they hate the idea that they could be constrained in any way by their female bodies or psychology (again with the narcissism here, "I DESERVE everything in existence, how dare you only give me this half?")

Basically, for many of these girls it all comes down to getting angry that someone else has something they don't, and trying to force themselves into it in order to flatter their egos and reassure themselves that there's nothing they can't speak with authority on (have a say in) and nothing they can't have if they want it.
