i cant help but instantly think of scene/emo girls of the early 2000s when i see this photo. this has that vibe all over it. i a lot of cases, NB and pooners are just the zoomer equivalent to scene girls. while most scene girls were able to grow up, start wear normal clothes, and have no lasting effects other than maybe a bit of embarrassment thinking back to their teens, pooners dont have that luxury. the ones who go down the path of surgery and regular testosterone treatment are going t jsut have to live the rest of their lives with the effects of their dumb teenage behavior.

This is a pretty good way to think about being long term trans. Imagine you got every single body modification (hair dye, piercings, tattoos) you wanted as a teenager and they are permanent. Your heat damaged, bleach fried hair is now your natural color and texture and that's the way it will grow back if you shave it. Same with your piercings and tattoos. You can't take them out and your children will be born with little holes there or your tats if you choose to have children (because troon shit gives their children health problems). And you can only wear clothes you thought were cool when you were a teen. Could you live the rest of your life that way?
