Ramy is currently not doing catches anymore, due to picking up a number of charges from this particular catch.

OP got me interested in this guy Cody Mattingly and his doings. I went and watched an almost 3 hour video and took notes, I'm here to share those notes and thoughts with you. I have some thoughts about Mr. Mattingly himself that I will save for the end of this post.
I'm not smart enough to compress the video any further from where it's at because all the online converters I find wont take a file thats 491 MB without paying for it so I have provided a Mega link for archival purposes.
To set the stage our video starts in a non-descript hotel lobby, Cody approaches Ricardo the pedophile and convinces him to go up to the hotel room.
Cody is not at all an eloquent speaker, he says dumb shit like "I would have a whole 'nother ballgame to fight." He rehashes the same points over and over again essentially conducting struggle sessions against these people for much longer than necessary instead of calling the police and letting them handle the issue. He is a verbally dominant narcissist who knows exactly what he is doing to extort these people into giving him content. He implicitly and explicitly uses threats to keep the pedophiles on camera.
I believe he enjoys doing what he does because he is a weak man with very little power in life, and putting himself in situations where he has the moral high ground and the means to dominate the conversation with a captive audience is the only way he feels in control. I also think he does this because naturally the people he catches are going to be degenerate beta males which he can easily dominate.
If I had to guess I would say that Cody is the kind of guy who has very few real friends that have stuck around in his life. He probably has lots of "friends" that enter his life and leave it quickly (after getting to know how insufferable he is.) He's glib and he loves the attention he gets. I would bet he would be happy to find us gossiping about him here on the Farms because it spreads his name, fame or infamy don't matter only notoriety.
These videos are really hard to get through because I just come out at the end feeling dirty. The whole thing is disgusting - the lack of professionalism, the stupid tactics that never result in convictions, and the insincerity of the catchers.

He's rude, snarky , vindicative, stubborn and narcissistic. He found a "job" where this flaws are celebrated.
He's not only rude to preds, he's also rude to their family members, cops, security guards and bystanders. If you don't say that you love what he is doing , he will be a dick to you.
Cody is agressive and relishes conflict. He secretly wants preds to jump on him and to turn the cameras off. As a far as I know he's the only pred catcher with pepper spray and a pocket knife.

Nobody is sympathizing with the pedophiles here. For this thread personally I'm interested in archiving videos I find interesting. I wouldn't say the courts are toothless when these are crimes that can quite literally land the pedophile in prison. The reason the courts are ineffectual in this situation is because of the behavior of the catchers themselves. Allow me to present to you the latest Alex Rosen catch...
39 minutes in the police arrive, Alex starts shit talking them immediately by criticizing their response time. They called the police and reported a commotion instead of an honest report when calling so they could get a faster response time.
Alex is a lot better at this than a lot of these younger catchers and he certainly has better comedic timing which is probably why he runs the most successful grift out of all of them. At least that's how it always seemed until I stopped following a few months ago.
All of that said though I have a theory. I think Alex Rosen's outfit PP might be mining the sex offender registry for content. You could argue that minors on the internet can be promiscuous and very pushy. While it is true, predator catchers are like this because they want to catch as much people as possible. Some catchers are able to find (meet and expose on video) a predator a day! While there are a ton of creep online those numbers are crazy.
They are at their worse however when the catch is a RSO or someone important. They are willing to do anything just to catch them. Using 3-4 decoys in a row to catch them, sometimes sending alledged cp and when the pred doesn't take the bait or just show up to their workplace/home to expose them.

They are at their worse however when the catch is a RSO or someone important. They are willing to do anything just to catch them. Using 3-4 decoys in a row to catch them, sometimes sending alledged cp and when the pred doesn't take the bait or just show up to their workplace/home to expose them.
That's what Hansen did to a judge and he shoot himself in the head.

That's not what happened I think. As the story went the guy arrived to meet with the bait but when he realized he was set up he shot himself in his truck or something. I know the guy was a political person of some standing but I don't remember what he was exactly, but he wasn't necessarily small time.
I could be wrong however, but I don't seem to recall anything shady on the original TCAP run because they knew about entrapment and waiting for the predators to make the first move to remain airtight.

I think it was the only catch were they actually went to the pred's home to catch him rather than luring him to the sting house.
He's the only pred that died during the sting while 3 other died awaiting their trials.

The tap is a way to show that you're interrested(
It could easily be argued that the decoy started the conversation by sending the tap.
Also notice how the decoy starts calling him daddy
