lol are you from the midwest? That shit is less than a dollar a package... go to an asian grocery store.I don't care how spicy that is. The real burn is the price. Even in bulk it's something like $4 a pop. If I want to spend that kind of money, I'll get real food.
Is this particularly hot compared to some of the extremely hot noodles I've found in similar packaging? Because I find it hard to believe anything I can get from Walmart is all that hot, but most ramen that comes in packaging like this is at least pretty hot.
Have they just jacked up the price because of demand from that bullshit YouTube fad?
I'd gladly try something this hot at a real ramen price. No cup noodles should be more than $2.

Lol I agree that's overpriced. I'm arguing you're buying it at the wrong place. It's around $0.99 cents a pop here (though I prefer Shin which is around $0.75 a pop). That's arguably more than the $0.20 maruchan, but paying less than a dollar to get ramen that's not terrible, for a quick lunch... I'm not terribly concerned. I get it that where you are it's more expensive. Again, it may be location based. I'd agree with ramen the more you spend, the better the quality, but still with diminishing returns... but I also think we're paying different prices for said ramen.Dude, the ramen pictured about 5 posts above, that we're talking about, is Samyang hot ramen noodles. They're literally sold at Walmart. But even in bulk on Amazon they're $4 a pop. That's just fucking overpriced.
Yakisoba is pretty tasty. That seems to be the only brand I could find though,I actually never liked instant noodles until I found myself practically addicted to these:View attachment 160063
From my experience, it's a little more spicier than the Shin Ramyun posted earlier. It's also a little bigger than most brands you might be familiar with so that might have contributed to the price.I don't care how spicy that is. The real burn is the price. They have the Budae Jjigae here... goes great with hot dogs.I heard of this Ramen before. I didn't think they sold this Outside of Korea View attachment 362068
But this one I know all too well. I preferred this to the cheap Maruchan stuff. But one day they stopped selling it at the Walmart I frequented. I forgot about it and moved on to Nongshim. I found it on Amazon a few days ago and the memories flooded back.

For me Sapporo Ichiban had that nostalgic feel to it. I couldn't explain it but it tasted so good

see added confusion that's also my fault.. i used the first image that showed up for that on google.. i agree bowl noodles suck... only buy them if your work only has a microwave...and if that's the case don't pay $4 for microwave food. but they do come in packages you cook in a stove on a pot and you can manipulate your ingredients.I've never bought that particular ramen. I only even heard about it because of this dumb YouTube fad that got mentioned earlier. As I said, I'd never pay more than $2 for bowl noodles.
