This is the part where I will say that new kids are actually very tech illiterate, the boomer meme is false.

I think that's just a holdover from gen x and early millenials. Those are generations that might have been exposed to the low level tech that had you doing things yourself at the low level. Now everything is just apps that you click and consume.
