Actually it's a Sims 3 screenshot, I just posted it here since this is the general Sims discussion thread at this point.

gameplay is almost all recycled content:
As expected.

Hobo gameplay - useless if you don't do 'challenges', but I can see potential paired with the right mods (when the camera showed that sims' camp I immediately thought about thieving gypsies)

Another 'potion maker' job - spellcasters already make potions and herbalism is basically what an apothecary is irl, so all this is redundant. It's also sad when all the content they can think of about potions and magic revolves around changing emotions. The devs really are a bunch of eternal teenagers.

I didn't understand what is that 'luck' thing, is this another insidious gameplay mechanic that fucks things up when you're just trying to play the game normally? Can I turn that shit off?

The architecture and objects in general are just the other half of the spellcaster expansion. At least the neighborhood looks bigger and better than Glimmerbrook.

I'll pirate it as usual, more plants and furniture are always welcome.

Someone posted some leaked info about the next TS4 Expansion Pack after Enchanted by Nature and Project Rene, but quickly privated it, so take these rumors with a grain of salt:

EA not wanting to make an African-based TS4 World does make sense, since the countries differ from Egypt and Morocco up North, South Sudan, Kenya, and the not-talked about Central African Republic in the middle part, and the absolute shitholes in the South in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Does EA moving EP development to Europe actually save them money though?

The July Patch Notes are out, and it took EA 6 months to "fix" the "weather effects indoors" bug. There's still no word about fixing the Save Corruption issues though.

anadius made pirating Sims4 really easy but Sims4 made itself harder to pirate by being shit.
what a conundrum
Man, I love Anadius but I'm even too tired to go through the motions, knowing what EA slops out. Shame inZOI turned out to be super corporate and barebones (but it's still early release)

If true I don't blame them being careful around an African world, knowing no matter what you do, it's never good enough. Resembles too much of Africa? You're racist because not all Africans are poor. Shows a bunch of luxurious parts? Then it's racist because you are erasing poor Africans.

And unsurprisingly, the new patch is filled with more newly created bugs. Some of those include not being able to drag dishes and trash into sinks and trashcans with The Hand of God, the whiteboard from Businesses & Hobbies disappears and cannot be re-placed, and Sims not needing to take pregnancy test to confirm pregnancies.

The bigger bug is that custom tattoos and custom pet coats are glitched, so your Sim/pet is all black, literally:

Now you can re-enact Blackface Justin Trudeau in The Sims 4!

Looks like they broke the game in the last update, now everyone (including males) can get pregnant regardless of the settings chosen.
EA’s latest The Sims 4 patch is making everyone pregnant, including the men and the chaste

The latest patch for The Sims 4 is bringing the nightmare of pregnancy to random people in the comedic life simulator. Coming alongside the game's latest expansion, Enchanted by Nature, the pregnancy bug is spreading throughout the game, and no one is safe.
While not every player is not privy to the nightmare of every person in their game becoming with child, those who have the bug are finding a large number of Sims randomly marked as pregnant.

Across the game, Sims are now randomly carrying a mini-Sim inside them. This doesn't just include female characters or those who have Woo-Hoo'd the entire village. In fact, the pregnancy pandemic is affecting virtual virgins and – if you can believe it – even the men.

Unfortunately, it's not even just adult Sims who are randomly becoming pregnant as one Reddit user found out. The Sims 4 may technically be a life simulator, but I think there's some elements of life that are best left out.

Sims who are marked as pregnant in The Sims 4 are more limited than some gamers may think. Once a character is pregnant, they can't Woo-Hoo anymore, they won't age, they can't take a pregnancy test (?) and they also can't blow out the candles on their birthday cake because of the aforementioned not-ageing thing.

Enchanted by Nature was, by its own merit, designed to allow players to screw with the natural order of things. However, it seems that the update has done so unintentionally, and many are unsurprisingly unhappy that their characters are now randomly knocked-up.

Hopefully, a patch will be released sometime soon, and some kind of magical baby removal. I'm sure some people will disapprove of that.

>men getting pregnant against their will
IDK man, sounds like a feature, not a bug, with tranny devs like the S4 team.

That's false, it's not exactly the update that does this; it's the update interacting badly with a mod (Pregnant sims can do more by sims4me). Take that mod out and the general pregnancies disappear. They're also not true pregnancies - no bellies, no progression, no kids; just the sim unable to do some actions because it's treated as pregnant.
