Recently the sims 2 community had some discourse over trans body shapes for a game from 2006, expecting the game to be as "progressive" for modern days, despite gay sims not even having real marriages in Sims 2.

The transgender Sims 2 mod doesn't look any different from the transgender sims from Sims 4, though.

The Sims Community has been making body shapes for trans sims for years now, especially Sims 2.

Like, a literal decade.

Those ‘realistic’ babies secrets are giving me nightmares. There’s realism, and there’s making them look like a bootleg Tim Burton creation. Other than it’s nice to see that mostly everyone’s satisfied with the new seasons pack.
I’m sad how quiet this thread’s been, but asides from the salt over the other Pets stuff pack things have been more or less tame. Or just tame considering it’s the Sims modding community. I’ll have to check on it more often.

There is a good reason most artist avoid babies or make really simplified generic cute ones, realistic babies are hard to do. Adding all the fine details make them look like elderly slavs or naked mole rats. Just deal with toddlers and babies not fitting your alpha CC aesthetics. Hell I would say alpha CC'd children are super weird and look like tiny adults.

CC creators who use alpha overlays and skins on kids that are modelling their clothes always look way more mature than they should. It's fucking weird and they need to stop doing that. Alpha skin cc can look good if the person who made the alpha cc had a less....contour-y version for children. Children don't need sculpted cheekbones and plump shiny lips.
