The Sims Modding Community - "[Sims 4] Incest, Teen Romance, Babies For Everyone and more! UPDATED FOR 1.5.149.1020!"

Speaking of Rachel Franklin I think after she left was when the game got toddlers. Considering her quotes I wouldn't have been surprised if she was holding the development team back. I also noticed that the game started getting more family oriented content after her departure as well. Coincidence?

i kind of expected some weird mods for the sims 4, they released that game with very little content just so they could sell you shit that should have been in the base game later. they have expansion packs for expansion packs, this is peak capitalism
I'm surprised EA didn't make The Sims 4 online only with limited character/housing lot slots (options to buy more of course). I wonder if they'll try that with the Sims 5.

They were literally going to do exactly that, but they backed down and made it offline/singleplayer after the shitstorm over Simcity being always-online.

Not to mention that most of EA's attempts at making an online Sims game have ended in failure. The Sims Online and The Sims Social come to mind.

Secrets for this week are up. Regarding #7, I still wonder why the TS4 devs made that a thing in that you can get sims fatter easily, or way too easily. I remembered that some people complained about that on TS4's release, and I don't know if they patched that behavior out or yet. Ironically though, I have the opposite issue in TS3, where sims lose weight on their own without doing any exercise.

I think gaining and losing weight in-game was hardest in The Sims 2 because I have the same problem with 3 and 4.

God you have to do so much exercise in 4 to lose weight that your sims has almost maxed out fitness. It's ridiculous and women gain weight so much faster too. I had twins one male, one female and when they became teenagers the brother was normal sized while the sister was fat. They only ate 2 meals a day and neither were gluttons. One or two pregnancies and your sim goes from skinny to fat as well.

I have this issue where I play the sims 4 and go through all the trouble to make a cool family and a big, super detailed house and then when I actually play the fucking game I get bored. I don't regret it, because making sims and houses is fun. It's just a shame, really.

Honestly, same. Sims 3 and 2 I could play for a few hours after I made an interesting family, Sims 4 doesn't have enough content to do as much. That being said, Sims 4 is great for making sims, they look much nicer than sims 3

#15 made me squeal
