I always loved making super compact homes in Sims. I felt this urge to size up but it always just became huge fucking houses with empty square rooms. Once I saw that it was possible to create trailer homes with a second floor, I was hooked on that shit. I'd love if micro homes were more accessible, but it'd honestly require a new game to make it of any appeal. We're too far into the Sims 4 life cycle for new ground to be broken.

You can unlock a hidden milestone arround grilled cheese if you make your sim only eat grilled cheese for a few days. But I'm not really sure if it is really in the game or if it's a bonus in the hundreds of mods I have installed.

The closest that EA got to incentivizing tiny homes is the Tiny Living Stuff Pack for The Sims 4, in which the buffs for having a tiny house are really overpowered.

In a bit of other news, The Sims 4 has turned 7 today, and EA announced that they'll be doing a "Refresh" of one of their previous TS4 Game Packs, Spa Day.

The Spa Day refresh turned out to be a nothingburger but it broke a bunch of mods just like always...

Not to mention it's all either 50 shades of grey or there's nothing else in any pack that matches it.

IMO this is probably a skeleton team putting out the minimum amount of stuff possible in a DLC while a larger proportion of the dev studio has been shifted over to TS5 development. After all, TS4 is already quite an old game compared to TS2 and TS3, and TS5 is overdue.

At some point I'm entirely sure they'll just turn to paying modders to put together content.
