The 7th set of patches for TS1 and TS2 are out, and it took them only 2 months to fix alien abductions, assuming they're actually fixed, and let alone the other stuff they broke to do so.

So do the scripted events for the neighbourhoods in sims 2 work in the updated version? One of the curious brothers in strangeville has a scripted alien abduction event.
