The skeptic community, as they call themselves, are made up of wannabe philosophers who pose as intellectuals on Youtube. Individually, they each drive their own brand of biased narrative to garner subscribers & views of like minded people, while collectively feigning impartiality as a group. They are often caught with their pants at their ankles when they inevitably tip their hand a bit too far or publish a grossly under-researched & easily disprovable rant video.

These people have all but turned the word "skeptic" into a synonym for "always right", & God forbid if you don't kowtow the line of the groupthink and commit an act of wrongthink.

The skeptic community has no ideologues, but skeptics are always right & the opposition is always wrong, it's just that some skeptics are more right than others.

You can trust that the Youtube "skeptic" community always hold themselves to higher standards. Skeptics are heavy thinkers, they're always weighing their options carefully & without error or ulterior motive. Skeptics always admit they're wrong, which is how you know they never are.

So naturally there's lots of infighting & circlejerking in this nebulous "community" of narcissists. It should come as no surprise that (apart from hilariously embarrassing rants about the immorality of slutty women who won't screw me or calling all social scientists degenerates) these verbal slugfests are about the only thing entertaining about these unlikable smegheads.

It should be noted that a group as intelligent and rational as the skeptic community would be more than accepting, understanding & respectful of when one of their own decides to take their leave on grounds of a difference in principles.

This one is one sided in that there's no defending Devon Tracy, but watching Vadim quash Devon is still lulzy.

The only thing slackers skeptics love more than making money off of their opinions Youtube is lambasting other skeptics for making money wrong.

Of course what would a hardcore-anything community be without making up autistic bullshit that never happened to sell you on watching a long ass video at the cost of betraying people who thought they were your friends for dat jewtube money.

"Remember, just because this man does horrible things to other people, there's still no reason why he doesn't deserve my money."

And finally, who could forget the one vs. all Titanomachy that was the thought-policing Nazi Thunderf00t coming to censor our perfectly tasteful humor. What an unrepentant asshole. Someone should accuse him of taking our gravestanding out of context, because that's what really matters.

And as always, regressive leftist Kraut and Tea slapfighting with regressive alt-right Naked Ape over race realism.

At least Harmful does 'skeptic'-themed videos. But whatever, I don't think we'll end up discussing IA anyway

Yeah, I just wanted to demonstrate how cannibalistic and douchey the skeptic community are toward "traitors". I didn't mean to insult him or anything like that.

This is like the YouTube drama between Leafy & Keemstar & iDubbbz & co. but between people who think they're smart.

I used to listen to the Drunken Peasants Podcast (The Amazing Atheist's podcast with him, his brother, a friend of his, and PaulsEgo) in the background while I played vidya, so I'm pretty familiar with the entire community, as people such as Thunderf00t, Sargon, and Creationist Cat have all been on the podcast at some point.

A big problem with the idea of a skeptic community is that they have no connecting identity beyond the vaguest notion of "anti-SJW" and even that's debatable. Any attempt to try and make a coherent group out these people, like Sargon seems to want, is idiotic. They're basically turn into the next wave of feminists constantly eating their own at the slighest hint of dissent.

The drama around Laci Green is a good sign of this happening. You've got quite a few people white knighting her against anyone who is a little bit skeptical of her motivation. The Thunderfoot drama is kind of this too, but Thunderfoot actually is kind of a disingenuous cunt.

The idea of this whole "skeptic community" thing is fucking stupid because all of them are dead-set in their beliefs and keep accepting everything people popular in their community say, which the exact opposite of skepticism.
It's like the whole "asexual identity" thing all over again but with euphorics instead of easily triggered bloggers

People keep trying to turn random words into an identity and it shows no signs of stopping.

Sargon in particular is annoying as fuck out of the popular ones. He truly does think SJWs/centrist 'leftists' are worse than nazis.
SJWs are plain stupid. Left leaning centrists on the other hand are practically regular Joes with a few dissenting opinions, but not at all harmful. That's pretty SJW-ish for someone of Sargon's likes.

Be completely skeptic until money is involved or when someone who is supposed to be on our side points out our fuck ups. The drama is the only good reason to watch half of them anymore.
It's entertaining to watch until you realise that they're making money off of the attention you're giving them for all this shit.

It's about time the skeptic, anti-SJW, anti-feminism youtube crowd got a thread (we do have thunderf00t, Sargon and shoe0nhead ones but the whole community is pretty lol-worthy at times). As much as I agree with some of their points about modern day feminism, crazy SJWs with their microagressions and muh representation etc. it's still kinda fun to see people who rival their SJW enemies in smugness and self-righteousness falling apart and going after one another.

There's also just too much hypocrisy and double standards going on: one minute the sceptical sceptic will decry the use of anecdotal evidence (or 'lived experience' as the SJWs like to call it) and the next she/he will say something like "well, I've been using that site for years and I've never seen/gotten a rape threat". Or they'll mock people for asking for donations for making videos while having a patreon link in their own description box.
