I...I don't get this is this supposed to be comedy? I mean it's listed as entertainment but It's not entertaining
Who the fuck even are these people? The only one I recognize is Armored Skeptic. This guy has been around for a year and I have no idea who he is.

Ranting monkey: pretty much just responds to she's nothing interesting like an American tl;Dr
That white YouTuber: I have no info on him
Bearing: an Australian anti-Sjw who another one of those obnoxious ones with cringy jokes and had a copywrite strike by fresh TV due to his older avatars pretty much showed me how hypocritical the skeptics can act (look up #freebearing)
Omegon/irate bear: British anti-sjw's let's face it a lot of them act the same
Miss misa: never seen her stuff IDK why just never wanted to
There was one other in the video but I don't remember

EDIT: so no one gets the wrong idea I'm not trying to a-log and I'm not trying to come off as salty or angry (matter of fact I'm cool and collected as I type) and I have no vendetta against anti-sjw's (trust me there are a few I'd recommend that don't want to be in the skeptic community). I do this because I'm sick of the hypocrisy and echo Chambers this community causes like I remember some shitty stuff people like Mr. Repzion, Jaclyn Glenn, TJ Kirk etc. have done but it was swept under the rug by these YouTubers because of this community.

The Amazing Atheist & Thunderf00t are good places to start but they were never explicitly part of the skeptic community when it first started, but rather, they preceded it. I don't know who the first is but Armoured Skeptic might be the one.

There is not such thing as a "skeptic community" this people have no ideas nor interests in common, even less so a religion or dogma and when they group up is between their own small spheres. The reason their sperging is so reminiscent of the calssic youtube drama is because... it is the classic youtube drama.

Judging by the subjects talked about here, I wouldn't even suggest "Anti-SJWs" as a title.

I mean, they all react to the exact same videos, circle jerk with people who agree with them, then gang up on those that don't. Their fans are hilariously rabid, and are so impressionable that they can be swayed by any retard with a microphone and a non-American accent.

So from what I've gathered apparently the "skeptic community" on Youtube basically refers to critics of feminism / social justice, or pro "alt-right". Brexit, etc.

Used to be that whenever you heard "skeptic" it referred to a euphoric atheist criticizing religion; so out of curiosity when did "skeptic" start to refer to people like Sargon who criticize feminism and social justice?

When they started doing it.

Does Hunter Avallone count as part of the "skeptic community"? I'm just going by StraightShooter's latest post here. He's very right leaning, and doesn't support feminism, I think he's heavily against transgenderism (I'm going by old videos where he mentioned that trans people are just whatever they were born as, but with "mutilated" bodies or something along those lines, but I don't know if he's still against it)

I thought I'd bring up his most recent upload

Just like his video "Kathy Griffin is a moron", he makes digs about personal appearance before making a statement. Which just makes me roll my eyes. Does he have to dig at everyone's personal appearance to start his argument? Because it just makes him look like he can't support his shit without this little anchor to weigh it down.

Seriously in the Kathy Griffin video alone you could hold a drinking game where you drink every time he insults someone to help anchor his argument down. He's talking about how whichever comedian isn't funny, but i'm gonna be honest, neither is he. It just comes across like "Look these SJWs are.... uhh..*spins wheel* morons. they- they- look like... like..... *spins wheel* an inbred" it's not funny, it's tryhard as fuck and really cringey.

It's not often I see right-wing people sperging unless it's about someone who's an SJW who they feel like they should tell them how to think (despite saying they're against thought policing).

Honestly this just feels like some next level shit. Apparently they can:
a: make jokes
b: say rude things

c: scratch the above two, they can say whatever they want
purely because "OMFGGGzZZZ SjWS aRE wrONG and STUPID THO BC THEY DON'T THINK LIKE ME!" but as soon as anything is said about other conservatives or their precious daddy Trump, it's suddenly not okay?
They complain about the double standards that feminism has, etc, but it seems like Hunter Avallone enforces double standards as well. Jokes about SJWs are fine
But you can't touch Donald with a joke, that's "crossing the line" Boo fuckity hoo

Seriously both the alt right/conservatives and leftists/SJWs are becoming memes in and of themselves at this point.

It seems to have been a slow boil thing, Ultimatly not believing in God is a pretty shallow foundation for a ideology since it's one single stance. Lots of people involved had other beliefs which went into political ideaology which is ultimatly, subjective. Elavatorate (I hate that term) where Rebecca whatson claimed to have been harrased when more realistically somebody clumsily flirted with her in a lift (if it happened at all) at one of their faggy conferances is where the ball got rolling. both sides then chimed in when it was at best something to report to conferance security and in the shit show that followed the dumber members of the SJW types tried to fuse rational thinking with abstract philosophy in the form of Atheism+. The intial surge of femminist and social justice criticism was the community trying to defend itself from Attempts to politisize Atheist communities unfortunatly this encouraged the community to split in two. Mostly the pathetic broken SJW facets who now skulk around Rational wiki blogs and the 'skeptics' who reap a great deal of attention from the ease of shitting on buzzfeed on youtube, which ensures that 14 year olds hate femminism even if they don't know shit about politics (or femminism). Good news for theists however since US atheism as an organized movement is fucking dead in the water.

You'll notice this has very little to do with God or the nature of reality. Personally I've alway found the idea that God's (or even which God's) existance has anything to do with issues of gender, economics or political theory absurd. Outside of Odin descending from high to fill us in anyway.

I think the movement was inevitably going to end up arguing over politics, since atheism isn't enough to support popular Youtube channels. Making political videos brings in a lot more viewers who would never have been interested before.

This is true for both sides. Mister Metokur and Hbomberguy originally collaborated on a website called METOKUR, mocking Deviantart, among other things. They both ended up making political videos, but from opposing positions.

Part of the problem is that anti-theism has historically been associated with the secular Humanist ideology which most of the New Atheists shared, and to some degree or another has always been intertwined with social justice and progressive politics, since it basically originated with Auguste Comte after the French Revolution, and was influenced by John Stuart Mill's Utilitarian philosophy, along with touches of Marxism influencing the more radical social justice and egalitarian trains of thought.

So the organized atheism movement from the get-go wasn't simply about "not believing in God", it was about trying to evangelize progressive secularist ideology as a replacement for conventional religion, and just used the 9/11 hysteria to bring attention to itself; the "schisms" we're seeing now are somewhat reminiscent of the "Catholic / Protestant" or "Sunni / Shia" squabbles - basically they're arguing over the minutia, with the extreme fringe of the "social justice" turning against the more moderates.

Even better, make a video that cuts out every instance of him criticizing their looks and see what arguments remain and how much was shaven from the video length.

fuse rational thinking with abstract philosophy

I know this is tangential to what you were talking about, but the more pretentious wankers in the skeptic community do this all the time. Sargon himself will take philosophical models literally, and apply them to everything as absolute truth. I don't remember who he aped it from, but he brought up that there could be no divide between one's interest and one's argument. He used himself as an example by stating that since he's driven to never be discredited, all of his arguments would therefore be in service to that goal. I'm guessing he's never heard of a devil's advocate.

I'm gonna have an "explain like i'm five" moment and ask how to download videos from youtube; I'm not great with technology despite growing up with it.

Even though I'm shit with figuring out how technology works, i really want to do that.

There are various websites which let you download Youtube videos. Just Google "download Youtube videos" and you'll find them.
