As i mentioned some few months ago here, Tifa cowgirl outfit was censored. Well today Square Enix deployed a 8GB update for the 4 year old game FF VII Remake Intergrade. Update was just to cover up Tifa's cleavage.

Like I said in the Sony thread, don't fall for the "Tifa's tits are back! Square Enix is saved, buy the game!" narrative, Square continues to believe in the DEI and the ESG shit.
This reminds me of the mods for Mass Effect that would "fix" the clothes of strippers and various female characters to show less skin. The result was just a plain black texture. I believe the mods are still on Nexus.

They will censor (a.k.a. butcher) Tifa to hell and back, but yet trot her out like she's a show horse for all the "fans" to ooohhh and aaahhh at her.
I get she was many people's first love (waifu), but come the fuck on, that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to call out bullshit when you see it.
IMO Tifa is the equivilant of Mai from KOF/FF and ChunLi from SF. You can show respect for them, as they are the O.G. sexy ladies of the past, but if they've been done dirty by the compnaies they came from, then they should absolutely be blasted for it.
And if said companies won't listen, just fucking move on. Plenty of other fish (waifus) in the sea. 2B and more recently the Stellar Blade chick fit in that spot nicely. Hell, you can go in DeviantArt and find coomer artists that do the characters better justice than the official artists.

I pretty much agree. I think in the case of FF7R they're just sticking to their original woke roadplan since it's already been out a while anyway.
With Rebirth, however, they're trying to garner some good will back with fans, they haven't changed one damn bit and I wish people wouldn't support Square. They'll be right back to their shenanigans again in no time, hell, they may even pull a switcheroo and censor Rebirth later.

Difference is that they censored her from day one, which is their decision. If they went back and censored her I would be mad.
