To be fair, many medieval Muslim societies were lenient to Jews (and Christians), because there's many points in the Quran that say Muslims are supposed to treat peoples of the book with respect, and they held the sort of intermediate status of dhimmi, versus the straight persecution of the kafir. There's plenty of Anti-Jewish statements in the New Testament too, but at the same time medieval Christian societies also varied wildly in how they treated Jews. It's not really applicable to the modern world, especially since Judaism's association with Zionism has basically poisoned that well. Regardless, I doubt being ethnically Jewish would be the big thing that would turn Muslims against Tommy, so much as him being a looney toons insane crossdresser who would definitely fall under the label of kafir for his nonsense beliefs. I'd argue actually that the most accepting nation for Jewry in the middle ages was probably Poland under Casimir III.
