and then when Keith loses they blame they say he wasn't an anti-semite and blame Jewish funders doing a "smear campaign" on him in the same sentence.

It certainly wasn't a smear campaign, though. Ellison did associate with the violent, terroristic Nation of Islam cult, and its insane, anti-Semitic leader Louis Farrakhan, and said some pretty damn anti-Semitic shit himself.

Dershowitz just pointed this shit out and I'm sure there were more people behind the scenes saying, basically, "No Jewgolds for you!"

I also doubt that everyone threatening to stop donating was Jewish. Plenty of good goys in the Democratic Party.

Every time Dershowitz has been on TV making sense, everyone ignores him and screeches louder.

I'm confused, which faction of the Democrats are really mad here? The far-left ones who make a big deal about "white males", the Bernie sympathizers who always knew that Clinton's bullshit cost them the election, or the moderate ones who are simply horrified to see the trainwreck their party became? Probably a bit of all three, but which one dominates?

To be fair Dershowitz is like Ann Coulter of Jewish academics.

Yeah, I'm gonna head over to Facebook and taunt Berners for a while.

This is certainly better strategy than picking Muhammad Corbyn, I mean Keith Ellison.

I don't dislike Ellison much, but his pretty lengthy history of anti-Semitism and the conspicuously convenient timing of his so-called reform are just way too much baggage. Putting that guy in there would have been a catastrophe.

Plus shit-tons of rich Jewish donors would have pulled out. And who could blame them? Why the fuck would you donate to people absolutely hostile to your interests?

For the same reason Dems in Nevada kept electing Harry Reid, I guess. Masochism, maybe?

Considering Perez is into fully opened borders, is huge into identity politics and is closer to Hillary than Bernie politically, this is gonna lead to a tremendous amount of salt both inside and outside the DNC lmao

Taking border security away after it has been secured will be massively unpopular. Even Obamacare, which has been acknowledged as an ever-more-expensive trainwreck that doesn't improve coverage unless you previously couldn't afford/find any yourself, is being clung to as politicians talk about undoing it. But it sounds like he'll be very cozy with corporate and private donors while holding the divisive banners up, taking the party further from the populist slant it needs to stay relevant. It's too bad they got Sanders to toe the party line, there were some areas he was closer to Trump in than Clinton, would have been nice to see the Democrats dragged away from centralized establishment interests.

Trump sensed the salt was slowing down
