edit: the "suicide hotline trolls" is about people going to a reddit profile and clicking "get them help and support". it sends them them a message with the suicide hotline number lmao
We all know that whore Julie doesn't know about trials, she's probably watching it and treating it like the NFL or some normie shit "aNd hE kEePs CuRsInG" yea, he's repeating what was said in a aggressive manner towards chauvin and the other officers.

I'm still calling mistrial. The prosecution is fucking up so badly and the defence is destroying them so honest jurors will be going acquittal.

Ignoring testemony, evidence etc I guarantee there is at least one activist type on the jury who will go guilty across the board no matter what. There was jury screening but do you honestly thing one of the leftist activist types wouldn't straight up lie to get on that jury?

The well of public discourse is so poisoned they won't find a jury that will either unanimously acquit or unanimously convict in this case.

In fact taking it one further with the current state of public discourse surrounding blacks, police etc there is going to be a huge rise in mistrials of black defendants as activist types refuse to convict no matter what.

MSNBC is in full lugenpresse mode.

They just showed George Floyd's brother whining that the defense's treatment of the experts is outrageous and unfair.

And earlier they said that the defense was trying to put the victim on trial by introducing all this evidence about drugs.

God forbid we should allow people to present an effective defense in this country!

If the races were reversed, not a black person in the US wouldn't be like "LOL based cop killed a fucking tweeker and he should get a medal."

Goes to show hanging out in your safe space isn’t a good way to prepare yourself for reality. A few pages back someone posted a tweet of someone saying they mute the trial when the defense comes on.. I’m sure the same person will be completely gobsmacked if a not guilty verdict comes out.

I'm pointing out people are rightfully outraged when idiotic cops threaten peoples lives over their own mistakes.
No human system is immune to error. You're literally holding police to an un-achievable standard of perfection then criticizing them when they fall short.

The case you provided was exacerbated by the sheboon shrieking and carrying on like a fucking retard.
The cops were trying to be as reasonable as they could with an utterly unreasonable person. Her life was 'at risk' because of her own actions made the situation more dangerous and started drawing a hostile crowd of chimps.
Who acts like that when they know they're in the right and the cops are in the wrong?

Additionally, I reiterate my point.
You're lumping all Police together and assigning them group culpability for a couple of mistakes that turned into potentially violent situations when chimps started escalating.
But you'd be happy to handwave away literally tens of thousands of interracial assaults, rapes, aggravated robberies and murders committed by African-Americans because 'collective punishment' is wrong and racist.

Your reasoning is flawed and hypocritical because you are judging good and evil based on societal roles and skin colour, not actions, circumstance and intent.
As I've pointed out elsewhere in the thread, I detest nigger apologism. And as you cannot help but partake in it and spray it all over this site like a crack addict's diarrhea, I must therefore detest you as well.

We already know what would happen if the races were reversed, it would just be a foot note in the news.

Example in Florida, 3 cops pin a drugged up white guy named Tony Timpa, down on the ground for 13 minutes in a similar restraint to that used in Floyd's case. In fact this is even worse because the officers are openly mocking the guy after he passes out/dies.
As he becomes unresponsive, with his face in the grass, the officers joke that he has fallen asleep. When Timpa finally stops moving, the trio continue their mockery.

“Back to school! Come on, wake up!” one officer says.

Another, mimicking a teenager, says: “I don’t want to go to school! Five more minutes, Mom!”

I think he's gonna get convicted - for two reasons:

a) It looks like he probably really did screw up by using the neck restraint in a way that goes against regulations and his training. Even if that doesn't rise anywhere near to murder, a jury could still easily conclude that he should be punished for something, and, well, 3rd degree murder is the only thing on the table.

b) The jury members probably want to live.
They know that if they acquit, CNN will have zero qualms about plastering their faces, addresses, workplaces, families, social media posts, etc. on prime-time television to sick the BLM/Antifa mobs on them.

Right now the defense's big moment is pointing out that the MPD was so eager to throw Chauvin under the bus that they didn't even do basic shit like searching the victim's car for evidence of drugs.

The cops were fired before either car was even searched! And IDK off the top of my head what day the autopsy was done, but it was certainly before the tox screen came back!

I'm questioning whether they announced they were going to try the cops for murder before or after the second search of the car. They must have, because they said the second search was done at the bidding of the defense.

What a total clown show.

I mean, yes, clown show. But do you really think any other prosecution in the country is any better (sort of like when you see a video of a cop planting evidence - do you think it is a one off, or something that happens with some frequency)?

It isn't. And this is one prosecution they supposedly care about; imagine how shitty the others are when no one is looking. There is an entire office (country seeing as how they've flown in additional people to "help" Keith Ellison, Neal Katyal, etc.) trying to convict this guy. They're up against a very competent, local, practitioner. Usually the prosecution is up against some moron.

That's Brooklyn Dad Defiant, a social justice twitter onahole of the highest order. A perfect example of what you get when you give a retarded toddler the internet equivalent of a megaphone. He's probably due for minor cow status, as everything I've ever seen him post is the most cheese-brained virtue-signalling horseshit.

It looks like he probably really did screw up by using the neck restraint in a way that goes against regulations and his training.
But that's wrong. The MPD 'use of force' trainer, Lieutenant Johnny Mercil, established yesterday that the neck restraint was used within department guidelines, was appropriate to the situation, and was not a dangerous technique as applied.
And he was a PROSECUTION witness.
