So they've given up showing the actual footage, because it's blatantly obvious his knee is on his shoulder not neck, and instead are showing a ... cartoon recreation.

the other problem is that the footage clearly has audio of a hostile crowd screaming at the cops.

IMO it is better for the defense to let the prosecution continue feeding this type of information to the jury since they are also going to be getting the full video and audio evidence from the defense.

If I was in the jury right now, I would be increasingly upset with the prosecution since juries, in my experience, take their jobs very seriously and see these types of games as trying to fool them and not convince them.

Why would they stop the riots this time around? They can dismiss them as "fiery but mostly peaceful protests" while claiming all the violence is a White Supremacist false flag. They can get some Deplorables killed with plausible deniability, and any who defend themselves will get crucified by the Garland DoJ.
