To sum up Felonous Floyd's testimony, he was ostensibly brought in as a "spark of life" witness to humanize the victim of this alleged murder, but his highly coached testimony was targeted to instill at least 3 specific ideas into the jurors' heads:

• George Floyd, and even people outside the family, referred to his mother as "Momma" and was a notable mama's boy, so he was definitely calling for her when he died
• He loved playing basketball and referred to it as "hoopin'," so that's what he meant when he said he was hooping earlier and not shooting drugs up his ass
• He was always athletic and exceptionally physically fit and active, so he couldn't possibly have died in part due to health complications, especially not having a bad heart

I think that last one could actually backfire, since the defense could easily argue that the cops would expect to need to use more force than normal to restrain a very tall and muscular man, and they would have no reason to think he wouldn't be healthy enough to survive a common restraint technique.

I'm very excited to see who the defense brings in. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
