They are painting a good picture of a chaotic, tense scene around the whole incident, in stark contrast to the sterile klear-kut killing the prosecution was angling for previously.
They're also getting three people on video, two of which were Floyd's associates, saying that Floyd was fighting the cops. I feel like that's all Nelson wanted from Chang's testimony; an excuse to show that video.

What does Reddit believe cops are supposed to do in these neighborhoods?
You have to remember, these are the people that honestly believe more black people are arrested because the police departments are racist and patrol black areas more, and not that cops patrol lower income/crime ridden areas because that's where crime is, and black people happen to make up a large proportion of the population in the area.

We once got sent out (forced) to do "community engagement" while officers embarrassed themselves playing football with the local yoofs (while on duty as opposed to actually policing) all the police vehicles parked in the estate got every window smashed out.

I'm all for not having the community and police not being at war but there needs to be an air of authority and a separation in my opinion otherwise the police lose all authority. This new touchy feely police style that has become trendy just signals that people can walk all over the police.

Nelson couldn't help but call the officer Ms. I await the rage from reddit.

Edit: Fucking MISOGYNIST

Tasers are yellow, much lighter, have lights that come on and light up the target before you fully depress the trigger, are usually in a different holster type or position etc etc.
The nice new ones especially look like nerf guns.

Tasers get more cartoony with every generation, so you can tell who has the best gear on sight. Even the taser on ladycop's coworker's belt is outdated.
This whole situation got me thinking about Officer Keung's Taser last night.

Looks an awful lot like a 9mm, doesn't it? Well, that's because back in the 90's one Officer Tang duct taped a stunner to glock handle and called it a day.
George Floyd's panic started when he saw that chintzy knock-off Taser. I wonder if any of this would have happened if MPD had enough money to keep their officers' gear up-to-date?

EDIT: I have been corrected by gun autists, and Keung obviously is pointing his Sig PP9001 at Floyd in this picture. Just watch the dang Tang video!
