Reminds me of how Homestuck (along with the equally plagued Superwholock fandom, which I think deserves a mention along with the general British obsession around the same time which had a considerable amount of overlap with the SJW pronoun pushers) basically ruined the closest friendship I had back in the day. Real talk: I don't like how "soft" Asgore is seen and how he lost his pulse with Toriel. Sure, he wants to be seen as someone who understands and has feelings, which is a nice way to see things. That I approve and indeed think is sensible. What I don't like is how it seems the fandom forces him to be a "no balls" and make it seem like Toriel "owns the pants" in the house.

My theory with the Superwholocks (and to a lesser extent Harry Potter fans pre-Rowling getting a grip and realising gender identity is bullshit) and the obsession with all things British is that the community was already infested with people who'd bought into the "cultural appropriation = bad" narrative that had begun to dominate but at the same time wanted an identity beyond "basic white girl" and since the Brits are white and colonised a good chunk of the planet their culture is fair game for latching onto, and chances are if you're white and American/Aussie/Canadian you're descended from English people anyway, therefore not appropriation at all - I remember the same friend I lost to the Tumblr madness claiming some distant relation to the royal family even. So since they were already in deep with the rest of the SJW trends, other forms of insanity were sure to follow, because don't you know, telling someone to act like a goddamn emotionally stable human being for once is ableism y'all.

This thing was already taking long enough as is, and any substantial research into Homestuck would arguably be enough for an entire case in of itself. Given my frame of reference was mainly 2015/2016, I didn't want to talk about Homestuck too much, since it's popularity had already mostly passed by then, but I definitely understand why people would want a more in-depth analysis.
And trust me, I tried to research those things. I think I kind of got an idea of what his motivations are, and his real name might be Robert Fox, but outside of that, I couldn't find anything. Soyjak.party claimed to have found his dox, but we don't know whether or not it's concrete. A lot of it has to do with his Starmen.net forum posts being hidden, and the MSPA forums being nuked.
