The Walten Files is a FNaF spin-off horror anlogue series, created by Martin Walls. The majority of the series is animated, with very few live action scenes, and is generally very good horror content.
The series is based off of Wall's older project, Welcome to Bon's Burgers, which was a FNaF fan game that was scrapped due to lack of attention.
The creator and cast have a paranoid fear of their discord being raided by Kiwifarms.
The fandom is filled with SJWs and troons galore, and the fan content wouldn't be out of place on Tumblr, with laughably horrendous art and uwu headcanons about a alcoholic child murderer being a faggot and simping for a character he's theorised to kill.

Oh boy, another theory bait webseries that doesn't answer any questions and makes people think there's some deep hidden storyline that requires them not only to watch every video uploaded but autisticly comb through every frame trying to figure out how the main character's farts will solve the puzzle. At least MatPat is happy, no doubt rubbing his hands together knowing he can milk this diseased cow.

I really like the Walten Files. When I started looking into the fandom to see if there was interesting content, though, I was blasted with pure autism.

I don't even care that the creator made Jenny and Sophie canon lesbians, but I do care that it was a result of fandom spergery. I mean whatever, it isn't shoved in our faces or anything (yet) so I don't care that much.

I do care that apparently there is NO PORN ALLOWED because the creator doesn't want any, so anyone who dares to draw porn is blasted to all hell and back. Bro, it's called Rule 34 for a reason. Just accept the porn and move on.

I don't even want to see porn for it, I'm just annoyed at the creator's anti stance.

Honestly, I see nothing wrong here, even if we are talking about Martin & Co. I am not anti-porn, but if I was a creator of something, I would also prefer the deranged R34 and fetish freaks to stay the fuck away from me and my works as far as possible. And don't forget that Fnaf-based media attracts batshite scum like furfags.

That and just like Fnaf, Twf is not a good material to use for such content. Plus the animatronic charactes are the ones who get hit by that the most, nevermind them being possessed by rotting corpses.

I think it's an interesting series so far just for the art. It feels like bad jpegs, and I like it.

I don't blame the creator being worried about the farms, since a-logs and weens will raid discords and claim they are kiwis.

And at first I didn't agree with the anti-porn stance, but I forgot about how much DeviantArt fetish porn there is. He's probably seen enough to be disgusted already.

I don't understand all of the fandom love for the child murderer. It's fucking wild. Felix Kranken these nuts.

If it were me, I'd probably not engage the porn side but I'd let them exist.

Also, bro, if you think that FNAF is not good material for such content, I would have thought the same thing. But the fans somehow find a way. I am assuming TWF would have similar fans.

But I'll admit now that after looking through your posts on the SJW art thread and such, the anti-porn is now the least of my concerns involving this fandom. God damn.

I remember a Nexpo video on this and was thoroughly unimpressed, maddened even due to just how derivative it is. It's trash on par with Sonic.exe with just a little bit more effort (but we all know putting effort into trash doesn't make it any better, CWC put out however many issues of Sonichu in order to get poon but all he ended up with was his mom). Overall it's just a poor knockoff of FNAF that also lifts elements from other ARGs and creepypastas. I know that dashcam video may as well have been a direct rip of that Local 58 video except with a shitty animatronic jumpscare. It really comes across as something a fifteen year-old would come up after looking through other, better, ARGs but it's likely someone older doing it in order to attract an audience of teenagers who find this stuff intriguing because Zoomers are retarded.

It is bad and it is a shit and I hate hate HATE seeing anyone mention it as anything more than the ARG-equivalent to a crappy pasta. I'm so mad I'm bleeding hyperrealistic blood too real for an arcade machine from the late 70s.

The creator is a twenty year old man, so you're pretty correct there.

And it really depends on someone's tastes in horror, after all there are people out there who genuinely think M Night Shamalan twists are smart and coherent.

I saw the nexpo video on it. It was okay, yknow, clearly the guy put effort into it. And i don't give a fuck about its cringy fanbase. The main thing is that it wasn't really scary. Oh boy a company tape with Jack Walten's weird face that looks at you for like 5 seconds. Okay. It just tries too hard to be unnerving, and because of that, it just comes off as goofy.
Also, like people have said, it was so derivative: like the whole video game section had no reason to be there other than just cuz FNaF had one.
I wasn't a fan of FNaF when it was a thing, so maybe I'd have appreciated all the ripping off references if I was, but nah, I just found it weird.

That said, I can understand why the author is paranoid about the farms, like @anliteralidiot said. I personally have no interest in fucking with the guy.
