Oh boy, another theory bait webseries that doesn't answer any questions and makes people think there's some deep hidden storyline that requires them not only to watch every video uploaded but autisticly comb through every frame trying to figure out how the main character's farts will solve the puzzle. At least MatPat is happy, no doubt rubbing his hands together knowing he can milk this diseased cow.

I feel like the format as a bunch of vhs tapes makes the story a little bit better. But these ARGs always start out interesting only to be disappointing by the third act OR the creator cancels it because of delays. As for the community normally I wouldn't care but their are probably a bunch of kids who watch the series on youtube/tiktok who are now being brainwashed on discord by them.

I completely understand why people don't like TWF. I personally enjoy it because of the visual horror. A lot of the faces really freak me out - they hit me in that specific way. And I am enjoying the mystery behind who Sophie is, etc. Overall I think it's fun and harmless, fanbase aside.

Yeah it's pretty spoopy (the way the eyes are drawn just stare into your soul), and the way the narrative is told is pretty interesting. To say it is merely a FNAF offshoot is a bit short-sighted, as the story feels a lot more fleshed out, rather than just being "animatronic does jump scare". And autism is bound to proliferate from anything with goofy cartoon characters in it, it's almost scientific fact at this point.

I saw the nexpo video on it. It was okay, yknow, clearly the guy put effort into it. And i don't give a fuck about its cringy fanbase. The main thing is that it wasn't really scary. Oh boy a company tape with Jack Walten's weird face that looks at you for like 5 seconds. Okay. It just tries too hard to be unnerving, and because of that, it just comes off as goofy.
Also, like people have said, it was so derivative: like the whole video game section had no reason to be there other than just cuz FNaF had one.
I wasn't a fan of FNaF when it was a thing, so maybe I'd have appreciated all the ripping off references if I was, but nah, I just found it weird.

Late, but my thoughts exactly on the channel. It's like high effort FNAF fan fiction. It's not offensively bad, but it's really just a 'worse' FNaF.

I really like the Walten Files. When I started looking into the fandom to see if there was interesting content, though, I was blasted with pure autism.

I don't even care that the creator made Jenny and Sophie canon lesbians, but I do care that it was a result of fandom spergery. I mean whatever, it isn't shoved in our faces or anything (yet) so I don't care that much.

I do care that apparently there is NO PORN ALLOWED because the creator doesn't want any, so anyone who dares to draw porn is blasted to all hell and back. Bro, it's called Rule 34 for a reason. Just accept the porn and move on.

I don't even want to see porn for it, I'm just annoyed at the creator's anti stance.

It looks like Martin's style of VHS, but it might just be Battington putting in more work since the two series were inspired by the FNAF VHS original series, but TWF has gotten more popular over the year.

The only thing that Martin has helped Battington with is the non Canon Christmas special (Martin designed that weird music box piano thing in Ava's room), at least in public knowledge.
I however think that Battington was definitely inspired by TWF3 rather than Martin helping him. In my opinion it was executed much better than Bunnyfarms anyways.
And I think that Battington's improvement in general is just natural progression, he has been putting in a lot of work into his videos.
And Memebear and Squeaks D' Corgeh did partly animate the newest video which probably explains the sudden spike in quality (from Squeaks' end most likely)
