- A while back, something called The Pear is revealed. As above, this is basically like a Fnaf fangame creator cabal on discord for leaking other fangame's content.
- One of the main people involved is working on a game called Chompers, which was going to be part of the fanverse initiative. Not any more after the pear is revealed.
- A fan asks Kane Carter if this is going to kill the fanverse initiative. He says no - it might make scott unwilling to invite new devs in but it won't make him stop the initiative for the existing devs. Perhaps not the best answer, especially if the fan meant "is this going to stop adding more fangames to it".
- Shortly after, Theft King makes a fnaf video titled "The END of the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative", standard youtuber clickbait doomerism. which is also reflected in the title and description.
- Kane basically takes personal offense to this. He feels that posts like these are essentially calling his work a failed product that's actually still alive and well.

- Theft King sends a private response to him that doesn't really understand the issue - which is that Kane feels like the hyperbole will actually harm his business. It also includes a lot of claims that he is getting harassment from Popgoes fans (which, you know, two communities tard-fighting will do that).
- Kane gives a response clarifying what his issue is, and saying if he can name the people involved in his community who've been harassing him, he will toss them out to the best of his ability. He never gets a response on that part.
- A month passes. A different Fnaftuber, named Sheeprampage, releases a video titled "Why the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative FAILED..."
- Kane's had enough of this shit and posts a tweet mocking the doomerism of fnaf youtubers.

- Now the slapfight begins.

- People respond to Theft King's post that, again, he's missing the point; that using this hyperbole around the Fanverse initiative COULD directly harm Fanverse devs. Particularly the fact he's calling it a postmortem even as he defends himself.
- Theft King has now flipped into card-carrying villain mode. Another dm, and this one is fucking JUICY.

Seriously, read from the third paragraph on and ask if this isn't someone trying to throw out threats. Not to mention he inserted himself into this situation himself.
- Kane's response to this is basically "if people are responding to my tweet like '*cough cough theft king cough*', that isn't harassment, and you're a baby for thinking it is". He doesn't actually respond to this dm, though. He feels that Theft King is trying to play the victim by threatening Kane to make a public apology - this would later be backed up when other people leaked DMs showing him doing exactly that.

- Despite saying he doesn't want this to become public on his main platform, youtube... the literal next day he creates a video called An Open Letter to Kane Carter, which is kinda the opposite of doing that.
- yeah, responses aren't great to that.
- Kane is not exactly humouring this bullshit anymore, and gives a faux-apology that just leads to a rickroll. Apparently this is something another dev named Phisnom does in faux-apologies.
- Theft King does a literal FIVE HOUR LIVESTREAM pretty much just shitting on Kane. An example of this is insinuating that Kane had deliberately ignored something sent to him in twitter dms... when this had actually been talked about between them three months ago, and had just been genuinely overlooked.

- He sends a superchat mid-stream to Theftking.
- Theftking begins to self-immolate. He goes off on a complete tirade, ends the stream to look at the tweet, restarts it, and keeps ranting. Unfortunately much isn't preserved, but there is some real juicy quotes and videos included.

- This ends with the key line, which is his Burning In Hell for Eternity quote above. Reminder, this stream was started because of a
fucking rickroll.
- at this point Theftking's whole surroundings are starting to unravel. everyone's clowning on this motherfucker at this point, other people are beginning to post their own bad experiences with him...
- It becomes public knowledge that theftking is 35, nearly twice the age of basically everyone else prominent in the community. the fact this is all coming from someone who should be the most mature in the room just makes it more pathetic.
- he posts a classic non-apology apology on twitter (not youtube, where most of his fanbase is). Kane literally doesn't care about his apology and just states he will post his video on his side of the story and that will be it.
- Circling back to the pear, as part of the release Kane details a story from a friend of his, another content creator called Jonnyblox.
- when the story of the pear is first being leaked, theftking makes a snarky comment of "hello there", which is immediately followed up by another content creator named Jonnyblox basically calling him the news equivalent of an ambulance chaser.

- theftking is piiiiiiiissed. He starts a livestream, basically spending the whole thing trying to insist that Jonnyblox was punching down (for example, that Jonny has about five times the twitter followers at a whopping 10k while theftking has about a fifth of that, when on youtube those numbers are basically reversed), while
at the same time saying things like "who the fuck do you think you are" and "when you aim at the king, you best not miss" and saying he's trying to build clout off him. He keeps trying to find some kind of proof that jonny does the same thing but he basically can't. Kane uses this as proof that he has far more directly incited harassment that anything Kane has done.
