I've decided to get my ass off and look at the subreddit again.. so what did I find?
TL;DR subreddit is basically censoring the drama and evidence that Mr. Walls is overcharging and playing it off as a sort of "meme", these kids are basically gullible and don't know how scams work.

I'm gonna be honest, it seems like Walls might just be an unmotivated person in general and that would explain why after a burst of inspiration with the first three walten files episodes, he's put it on the backburner in favor of making tweets about puppy tickling and hating books. Except this time around, instead of cancelling some fangame and letting down maybe a hundred odd people, he's got hundreds of thousands of eyes waiting and people shilling him money for no effort in return.

Gonna give some clarification on this, another analogue horror creator, Battington, made a hoax video memorializing Martin Walls, and he got major backlash for joking about a creator dying.

Battington has had no mercy over this, which is a shame because while he just remade Squimpus' FNaF VHS, his videos were genuinely very high quality, for FNaF stuff at least. But TWF fandom can't take a joke, we all know this,

To simplify for reasons, There was a slapfight because Battington faked Martin's death as a April Fool joke, as a result twitter took it too far and essentially a bunch of children and manchildren got butthurt and got Squimpus and others involved so it was basically a ton of people railing their dicks up Battingtons ass over a joke that he even basically apologized for, Martin Walls aka who made The Walten Files is basically a friend of Squimpus and shit so yea they're all "united" against a guy on the web who made a generic joke.
Squimpus isn't really better either, their series is just like the other "FNAF VHS" bullshit, SFM FNAF models with a VHS filter isn't horror, at least Battington began using animations and movement.
I also could not watch much of this dumbasses video, he's basically plastering his clipart tattoo fursona in almost any scene he can when he talks, I skipped a few parts and he had a few good points such as "they don't need you to defend them" or how Squimpus basically gave Battington permission to remake said tapes and they know that Battington put shit ton of effort into it and undoing that is dumb.

Honestly, I didn't want to sperg about it too much, but it's sad to see that Martin's child fanbase has cancelled Battington, since he was one of the most creative animators that did FNaF VHS stuff. I know Squimpus was a pioneer in that they were the first person to make high quality ones, but at the end of the day, it is still SFM with a VHS filter slapped over it. They didn't make the models, the filter, they just animated them, did audio mixing, etc.
Battington made all his models from hand and also improved on the horror from Squimpus' tapes. I feel like his most recent video, and the behind the scenes of it, really highlight that. While it's still FNaF, Battington has a lot of talent and would fare great doing his own analogue horror. Which I really hope he does. He made a stupid, late April Fools joke, and people are overreacting to it. He wasn't the only FNaF creator to make a misinformation joke after April 1st, but that's hardly relevant.
It's just a shame to see people snuff out a genuinely talented person, all for the sake of an artist who is not actually that talented.
To make this a bit more ontopic, I want to ask what people think of Martin Walls' as a singer. He's released two in universe albums, The Showstoppers 1 and 2.
I don't know if it's just me, but I found his singing voice kind of hard to listen to. Tip Toe was fine, but Magic really irks me. It sounds like he can't hit higher notes and it just comes across as tonedeaf. It doesn't really fit the in universe band. I'm surprised he didn't ask some fans to fill in for the other animatronics, just having Bon sing feels kind of... Lonely, I suppose.

He basically didn't even simply say "hey, don't argue and shit" he basically went "RANDOM BULLSHIT GO", ignored the main point by not acknowledging it as a joke that simply went sour and only labeled it as "something that seems funny to some" basically and let his inbred children go wild.
