The Worst Shows You Used to Watch When You Were a Kid - I.E. Childhood shows that make you cringe in retrospect.

Captain Planet had some really awful episodes. The aids episode, the episode where they went back in time and ran in to Hitler and Hitler was so evil just being near him killed Captain Planet, the racism episode, the drug episode that had someone die of an overdose. It was weird seeing that as a kid.
Just how casually they talked about those things and how heartbreaking it was to just see that russian chick cry out for her cousin.
Jimmy Neutron
Looks like you can't handle the neutron style. (jk it might've had a shit spinoff, but ya gotta admit it made some decent memes and then donut boy)

Ren and Stimpy. When I was a kid I didn't understand most of the innuendos and just thought it was boring, cruel and gross. But then I grew up, recalled some of it and this shit should be banned. Especially, if you think about what it's creator was doing while working on it.

Catdog. It's not as bad, but really, I'll have hard time recalling what good was there.

Rocko's Modern Life. Like really, this show was as gross as RnS, but with more deranged stories and animation so shitty, that some stuff from Newgrounds could give it run for it's money. I just wonder if some of it's creators were caught fucking dogs or jacking-off to CP.

I also remember some show about twins, even though they looked absolutely different - one was arrogant nerd, always high on his own farts and the other was literally blue, he always was up to some rowdyism and when someone seen it, he would scream "I did that!". God, it was so boring and looking back, it had so many uncomfortable things. Like there was a kid, who was only 3 feet tall and he lived with his mother at a swamp. He was tiny enough to crawl into sewers, so he made cleaning shit his profession. And in one episode the nerd fell in love with his mother... What the fuck was I watching? Who wrote this shit?

Some badly drawn show, where a kid has a dog, but it wants to be a boy, so it pretends to be one and visits school with a kid. That was strange to say the least, even though I chuckled couple of times.

Nickelodeon Shows:

* Inspector Gadget
* Hey Dude
* Livewire
* Turkey Television
* Tomorrow People
* The Secret Life of Alex Mack
* Roundhouse
* All That (Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Amanda Bynes should never have been on TV.)
* Fifteen (How did Ryan Reynolds end up getting so many acting jobs??)

Good Nickelodeon Shows:

* You Can't Do That on Television
* Danger Mouse
* Pinwheel
* Out of Control (AKA: The ONLY time Dave Coulier was ever funny)
* Double Dare
* Rocko's Modern Life
* Doug (before Disney bought it and fucked it up)

I'm old...

Rocket Power.
Came here just to post that! I loved the shit out of it as a kid, though there were some episodes that I found pretty "meh" even back then. Little me wanted to learn to skate because of it and I had a crappy Rocket Power fingerboard at one point. I think if I tried to watch it now the cringe would be overwhelming.

Does anybody know of Monster by Mistake? When I was younger my best friend and I would stay up late playing video games, and that show would always play around 3:00 AM. It was about this boy that sneezed and turned into a blue hulk monster. It's surreal to stay up late eating junk food until feeling sick just to see this show. It actually got 3 seasons despite the lack of quality animation or it's horrid opening.

I believe you're talking about The Cramp Twins and Teacher's Pet, respectively.

I mostly watched good cartoons as a kid but I got to mention the obligatory Johnny Test, like a previous poster, I watched it until the good cartoon came on. One that I haven't seen mentioned is Horrid Henry, a British show but I think it was too boyish for my taste, even though I'm a tomboy. It's about a boy who wants the world to revolve around him and does whatever he can to get what he wants.
Even as a kid, I didn't enjoy the Sonic Underground. It was so dark and dreary, a far cry from the games that I was surprised and there was a bloody musical number EVERY episode.

Ah yeah! I remember watching this, I thought it was meh. There was usually something more interesting on afterwards so I'd just watch it because might as well.
There was one episode I remember fairly well when Lucien's friend Mari literally kept calling him sexist and I was so confused because I didn't understand the message and why they kept saying "sex" all the time. I felt like that episode was ahead of it's time.

I mostly played bad games as a kid so I need to find that forum.

Thanks for the information. I watched Captain planet here and there, and had no idea there was a episode with Hitler.
