If this
@TheyCallMeTevin person is who I think it is (MoraMoria), there is no use in explaining anything to him (her?). He'll just act like he's above everyone else, throw some big words he doesn't understand and then go away, without any change in his previous beliefs except now he believes even more he's smarter than all of us.
But in case you're a person that actually is interested in understanding what proof we have that the WWE account is his, well, you have to understand that there is no "final, absolute proof", nor will there ever be one unless Phil himself admits that it's him. On the off chance that it is
not Phil, we will probably never know, since the owner of the account refuses to prove that he's not Phil.
But since you are acting like you're oh so logical, think about these options. Remember, this is all about what is more likely, we can't be 100% sure that any of them are the truth.
1. It's not Phil, but a troll
For this to be the case, you'd have to believe that:
- A troll actually decided to spend tens of thousands of dollars to troll Phil.
- This troll made sure that he would only ever get in the game when Phil is not streaming.
- This troll studied Philip's way of writing very closely, to copy even some abbreviations when writing.
- The Discord Leak was entirely fake, even though a mod pretty much admitted that it was real IIRC.
2. It's not Phil, but an unrelated person
For this to be the case, you'd have to believe that:
- This unrelated person, who has spent tens of thousands of dollars in the game, has no interest in proving that he is not Phil.
- This unrelated person, coincidentally, writes just like Phil.
- This unrelated person happened to choose Phil's twitter handle as his nickname, and has no explanation for this odd choice.
3. It's Phil
For this to be the case, you'd have to believe that:
- The guy who has already confessed to having spent lots of money in other gacha games, has spent lots of money in a gacha game.
- The guy who loves WWE and gacha games, loves this WWE gacha game.
- The guy who has lied countless times to his viewers, has lied to his viewers when saying that the account is not his.
Now, I obviously know that these lists are pretty biased. You can come up with your own reasons to defend that it's not Phil's account (and post it in the WWE Champions thread). But I just wanted to show that it's much easier to believe that it's Phil than to believe that it's not.
Am I 100% sure that it's Phil? Nah. Would I bet my life that it's his account? Hell no. But what I listed above is enough for me to say "Meh, it's Phil".
