It's because Ukraine, like several other East European countries, is a non-queueing culture. They are struggling to understand the concept of a queue, and are instead hovering trying to figure out the opportunity for them to nip to the counter, like they do at home.

A lot of East Europeans I notice are more used to queues and such, it's just that Ukrainians always have this weird fight or flight attitude towards most mundane things. Plus they love free/cheap shit so much they're ready to sell their country for it (again). Ever seen Ukrainians rush down a second hand clothes store? Never understood why chink owned /operated convenience stores are always staffed by people who act like you’re this terrible burden on them for shopping there. They always act so put out and angry when you get to the counter to pay. God fucking forbid you ask for a bag for your items as well.

You haven't felt the wrath and sheer tard strenght of little old ladies until you've tried to board a bus in Eastern Europe. Back when there were more people, they got real vicious, and sometimes would hold up the entire boarding process due to seat confusion scuffles. You can also see this really well when boarding planes with post-soviet people, the plane hasn't even arrived yet but people are already queuing up, as if someone's out to steal their seat.

Dude, daily occurence. Just yesterday i had to get so close to a clearly underage thing to grab the divider that it made me feel like a creep, she didn't move and was clearly unfazed by it. Talking about getting her hair in my face proximity.
