The man had no real understanding for a woman in Iran(?) getting beheaded for having an unpopular opinion.
People in the third world would wish they had a life like his. He'd call them slow in the mind for thinking this because his life is HELL ON EARTH!!! Then little African children would chant JULAY and "Sonic is dead" in English, French and Swahili.

Chris probably doesn't understand that quality of life differs in various parts of the world. People in Azerbaijan, Kenya, China, Indonesia, Honduras, Panama, Pakistan, etc... he probably thinks they behave, conduct their lives, and think about the same concerns and priorities as people he sees every day in Charlottesville.

I figured he'd have a sterotyped view of most countries based on what he's seen from T.V. All Chinese people pull rickshaws and work in rice fields wearing conical hats, all Africans live in straw huts and hunt with spears, all Canadians live in igloos and wear touques year round.

Why, as a Canadian myself, I had to kill a moose this morning so that I could make a decent poutine to have with my Molson beer as I watched hockey Go Canucks Go!

Don't forget having your sled dogs pull you to Jim Hortons while wearing your Leafs hockey jersey, eh hoser?

Azerbaijani: He never experienced any human rights violations like I have. He gets to post whatever he wants on the Internet and in Azerbaijan, my Internet is monitored by the government and if I say something wrong, I'll be arrested without trial.

Eritrean: I always feel nervous when using the Internet or phone because the government watches what I do. Chris can spew out anything vile he wants and not be punished over it. Second, it's no fair that America lets him get away with things because of his autism and how autistic people in my country tend to be institutionalized. Not to mention, the American government is caring for their people and mine is not.

To be fair our Government is spying on us as well. The NSA just opened up a 1.5million square foot facility about three miles from my house. It will store up to 12 exabytes of data and use roughly 1.6million gallons of water daily. It cost the tax payers $2billion dollars already, and that's just to build the place. It's also what the government has SAID it cost, so in reality you could probably double that number easily.

Yeah Fuzzy, our government collects our "data" too, and most people are creeped out, the American government is not viewed as all sunshine and roses, Americans on both sides don't trust our own government.

I'm from Argentina (that unhappy thing below Brazil in the map) and I find Chris very similar to one relatively famous dude, who is the son of a famous deceased comedian.

Google "Jorge Porcel Jr." if you know Spanish.

Otherwise, I find him incredibly stupid. And very "American" in some things (don't mean to offend, promise), yet very "un-American" in others.

This might be kinda off topic but, speaking as an American, something that bugs me about Chris is when he goes, I am an American! as if that is an accomplishment. I think its fine to be thankful you were born here, but don't pretend it is some accomplishment on your part, like it makes you automatically a good person, Jefrey Dahmer was also an American, so what? that means nothing.

Patriotism is ingrained to him because he did the flag salute as a child, he thinks just being born in America and living there is an accomplishment.

In other countries such as Canada they teach you about the various people here who accomplished things based on what they did, not where they came from.

Oh I know, its just, I'm glad I was born here, but I don't see that as a reason to brag, cuz it wasn't my doing.

I stuck my nose in this and saw China in the same breath as pakistan and Congo=NO, the town i'm living in is rual and poor but still better done up than areas of london, and those areas of london are going to be better than the USA for sure.

China is not a thrid world country (although chris i guess would belive it).

To stick to the thread people here at least would be very angry since they want a bigger welfare state, i think people would just see him as a typical stupid westerner who just doesnt want to work, theres a saying in Malaysia which is "hand stop, mouth stop" which means don't work and you don't eat...

I think everyone has at least some prejudice, even if they know its stupid, just think about certain nationalities and ask yourself, "What is the picture that first comes to my mind?" Like I realized, and I know this is bad but, when I hear Russian, the first thing I picture is an angry communist, or a sad old lady. I'm sure when some people hear, "American" they probably think, Ronald Reagan on a horse in a cowboy outfit drinking Coca Cola, LOL. Stereotypes and generalizations never reflect reality though.

It could be worse. The fact that women are allowed to drive, already puts America a bit above some countries.

Someone needs to make a CWC remix of this.

Complete with Chris doing the Bollywood dance! Those Julaay-speakers are from a region in India, after all...

I suddenly feel the urge to go vacation in Vietnam.

Huh.

But yeah, even if there are people who are living worse than Chris, at least they most likely have friends. Actual friends that is.
