I have to really wonder how much real science he's actually doing, and how much he's just good at joining or manipulation. As someone who has some exposure to this, there are a lot of ways to gain prestige without contribution, and more and more these days do we see a lot of bullshit in the field of science publication. I'm not even referring to outright fraud, simply people getting credits for minimal contribution, as in the kid in school who did little or nothing but still got the same grade as their group on a group project.

What I will point to ThunderL00p as something that always stuck with me, is he ragged on Anita because it took him seconds to set up a functional Discord server that she was charging thousands for as a stretch goal, but when the @Kraut gay ops Discord server came into question ThunderL00p made another video explaining how he was too much of a boomer to understand Discord to be part of that server and the one time he installed Discord it crashed out on him and he could never even get it to work despite his best efforts. Those are two vastly contradictory videos in the same year, and I can't imagine if he's willing to put time and energy into editing two videos, as both were voice over video and not just him talking on camera, that he wouldn't be pulling shit behind the scenes in every other aspect.

Why was he so afraid to admit that he joined @Kraut 's little gay server? The Anita video came well before that by about a month or more.

Talking about the cost of space programs is dumb. India's was so cheap because engineers worked for poverty wages, like 10k USD/year, out of patriotism. Not because they are just so much more efficient and less bloated and bureaucratic.

He's always been a bitter weirdo. People liked him for a while because he was dunking on pedostached scam artists and their child acting boyfriends. Once he stopped being able to cow on cumfart the gay and crockoduck boy he immediately became more visibly bad by the day to people.

That was a good video. It is sad seeing the decline in a concise timeline. I'd forgot about some of those classic videos that I remember enjoying back in the day.

Musk on the brain. It's a completely off the rails obsession at this point. If he kept it to one Musk video every six months - condensing all of those times Musk is adventurous with the truth or says some dumb thing at a Tesla expo - and continued to make videos for the Busted series and educational content otherwise, then nobody would have complained about it aside from the occasional Musk orbiter.

Yet another case study in how audience capture can mess up a channel that was quite well respected in the 'Science tuber' scene.

New year, new Musk video from ThunderL00p.

Love his take of "it was a fiery but mostly peaceful car bombing". Sure, there were fireworks in the trunk, but also other things like cans of fuel and god knows what else.

He goes on to accuse Musk of being ok with Muslim grooming gangs under conservative governments, but really I doubt he was even aware of them until recently. I also really hate the statements about the grooming gangs in the clips he uses, as the investigation into them back then found that police didn't want to stoke racial tensions so they didn't report on them properly and covered them up essentially. Even though I was aware of them going years back due to the very limited coverage, I was shocked not that long ago to learn it wasn't just one town in the UK, it was multiple towns with the same exact story to the point where I thought they got the town wrong in the headline when I heard about it. The shit was awful, it was covered up, and it was under reported even when it did come to light. It's almost as if every couple years another town is found to have covered up a grooming gang.

Didn't expect to double post, as I was expecting this to be a boring video, but in the first five minutes ThunderL000p argues that Musk is literally Hitler and despite Musk saying "My heart goes out to you." as he makes the gesture, L00py argues that it doesn't resemble other such gestures therefore it's a Nazi salute. He neglects to show Macron and others making the same exact gesture in the past.

There's even a Ken Panders level poem quote of "When they said Musk was a genius in ______" until it reaches, then "Musk came to my _____".
