Not that I disagree with you that she hasn't been relevant for a long time.

The obvious answer is that his anti-Sarkeesian videos were the last time Phil had anything approaching mainstream relevance and he's been chasing that high ever since.

I stopped paying attention to this motherfucker after he sperged the fuck out after the referendum to leave the EU that was made in the UK. I remember he was pro-EU because he wanted money from them for research grants. He seems to have lost his shit at the idea of not being seen as always right by whatever the fuck the people that complain about shit on youtube call themselves now. But yeah, this seems like a desperate attempt to make himself relevant again.

Oh gods no. Just watch the massive sperg fights in some of his Elon Musk / Hyperloop video's comments sections. The Musk worshipers vs the Musk sceptics make the Gamergaters seem like a calm rational college debate club. It's hilarious good fun. All the autism, but bound up with charismatic cults of personalities or at least cults.

I will confess I do actually like some of Phil's videos debunking idiotic impossible technology kickstarters. The screwy things like the magic water machines that violate the laws of thermodynamics. Or that mini aqualung device that is guaranteed to kill whoever uses it.

Someone mocked Phil over his hypocrisy for lambasting people for making money from online donations while he himself collects significant donations for his own videos. Phil's response was to jerk himself off over how his work gets published in major chemistry journals so therefore it has value.

This response is mind-boggling clueless because--like him or not (I'm personally ambivalent about both TF and JP, FWIW)--Jordan Peterson has been a professor at some of the top universities in the world, has authored or coauthored nearly 100 peer-reviewed articles, and has almost 10,000 academic citations with an h-index of 50 (20 is considered "successful" and 40 is considered "outstanding").

He had a good one a little while ago about just how full of shit Breatharians are. But his constant sperging about Sarkeesian is what made me stop watching him. And then he just got douchier.

And seriously the only reason people even know who Sarkeesian is is because nerds like Phil popped a hate boner over her and wouldn't stop going on about it.

This shit right here is basically why I stopped. Like no fucking shit Phil, filling a bullet full of people and catapulting it through a vacuum is dangerous. So are fuckin' cars. It's a useful technology. Why can't he use his goddamn brain to solve issues by, I dunno, suggesting good uses for the thing, like unmanned cargo transport or something.

No, instead the dude makes a billion videos that are all the same. I really dislike Anita Sarkeesian, but he does the same with her. We get it, do something new, Phil.
