Back in 2016, I remember finding out about ASMR through some Christian woman that was, well, making content featuring assorted sounds that trigger the response. She did a lot of triggers that worked on me, so I enjoyed listening to her stuff. I remember she talked about how she found out about the concept herself and used ASMR to cope with depression that came after losing her husband. Don't remember what happened, but religion-hating gendie retards eventually bullied her off. I wonder if she's okay and hoping her kids are alright as well, I think she had two.

sad to see this whole saga unfold, she was originally dead set against tits4clicks content.

this started uhhh, a couple of years ago RIGHT after she posted a YT Short that mentioned how much the cost of living in Britain had skyrocketed, and ASMR as a trend was dying down. She was semi-honest about making the decision to cater to her largely-male fanbase, but in doing so alienated most of the active commenters who were women or non-coomers. Of course a tiger never truly changes its stripes so you won't see any actual sexy content from her, just boosted cleavage and corny GF roleplays.

IRL she is one-half of a movie production company and has actual skill and talent in making motion pictures so it's sad to see her go down this route instead of upping the quality of her content like ATMOSPHERE or Moonlight Cottage.

Actually, while I'm there, does anybody have recs for lesser-known creators with a similar vibe as Moonlight Cottage? The ones that seem to pop up most are Atmosphere, who's creepily dead behind the eyes and also not a particularly good actress, and Aen Ani who seems like she's just kind of acting at a camera instead of trying to give you ASMR, although her videos are cute and reasonably well-made.
